Les If u break it down the price is in the ballpark, I purchased my safety Steer for just under $600, paid alignment shop $250 to install but did not have to get alignment being Spartan had done recently. I have paid over $400 for alignment in the past so the #s r not off by much. FYI it took almost 2 hrs to install Safety Steer not much room in that area to work.

We just took our new '17 Cornerstone to Josams in Orlando, based on the advice of folks on this thread. Yep, alignment was out... A LOT. Grease was pretty good, needed a little for kingpins. I am most impressed with the advice throughout this forum. In more than 30 years of owning various RVs, I have learned more here than 10s of thousands of miles on the road. However, it will cost me a few hundred bucks (or thousand) acting on all the great things to do to an Entegra. My advice; get an alignment!

Thumbs up

I called them two weeks ago, my new coach with 32K had noticeable wear on the Pass front outside edge.

So I told him I was going rotate one tire tire to front before I go there.

He said it would be much better to move two rears (that are together) to front.
Because they will have worn down more evenly. (didn't think of that )

So I used a tire gauge and found the drivers left had a few MM more on them.

So I rotated them to the front, going next week for the work.

This shop is on the ball.

Had my last coach an American aligned at Spartan last year ..what terrible service and lousy alignment job....and the steering wheel was a 1/3 off center...was my 3rd spartan...
I was so disappointed last June in the Spartan service,I bought my current coach on a Freightliner...Chuck

I don't know if this is a hijack or not, but I recall that there is a front end shop that is highly thought of in Missouri. Anyone remember the name? Also, for those of us nearer the left coast, is there a QUALIFIED shop west of the Mississippi?

Assuming It copied correctly, the link below identifies good front end options west of ole Miss including one in Missouri.

Perry Legend, but he hates Safe-T Plus or Safety Steer and will ask to remove them. He believes they are a band-aid fix to an improperly setup front end. Just what he told me. perry legend collision repair center

Does anyone have the model number of the Safe T plus and the mounting kit for a 2014-2016 MM chassis?

Don,

The Safe T Plus P/N is the same for all Entegras: 41-230. The hardware kit for those years is S-1460K4. You can look these up here: http://www.safe-t-plus.com/media/stp...ssis_guide.pdf

I love my Safe T Plus after visiting them this week for adjustment, I suggest any 1 buying 1 contact them for proper bracket #. Sure drives great now with the work Spartan & SafeT Plus have done.
