Well. Kids mostly fed, bathed and packed. Litter boxes cleaned. Food & water for the felines, check. Fuel & DEF filled, slides in, fridge stocked - ready to roll tomorrow. Can't wait to get there - and meet up with my wife!

A little gossip from the rally today. The lady's driving school had a very close encounter between a new Anthem (belonging to NIRVC) and a Jeep. Did not see the Anthem, but it was driven off. The Jeep however needed to be towed. Don't know if the driver got to (or wanted to) repeat the course.

I'm here. I don't know who was driving. I don't want to know because if it was I who was driving, it would be bad enough to have had that happen but to have the whole world know and be talking about it would be embarrassing to me. But who knows, maybe that person has thicker skin than I do. Regardless, I hope that person will still learn how to drive her magnificent rig.

Good point Beth and I agree. It could have been the Jeep drivers fault.

From my understanding - the Country Coach owner in the Jeep was 100% at fault. At least that is what I was told at the wine & cheese last night.

Kinda funny, we came across the Jeep owner this morning and she had a completely different take on the incident (naturally). First thing she said to us was, "Where's Ed with NIRVS, he totaled our Jeep." So even though Ed wasn't driving, it's his fault according to her.

OTOH these Entegras are built well, cosmetic damage to the Anthem, Jeep totaled...

Someone came to our for this morning and asked if we heard a horn blow prior to the accident. We did not. It occurred around 50 yards from our coach, we were just coming home after the accident happened.

On another note. We had to leave today because I need to be back at work tomorrow. We all had a terrific time putting names to faces (or faces to names). Thanks everyone for tolerating my talkative children. I'm really holding out hope that Beth will accept my offer of 3 cats for her 2 dogs. Special thanks to her for allowing Emily some quality time with the dogs.
