Hi all, just changed the batteries in one of my key fobs to lock/unlock my door. Now it lights up but doesn’t work. Is there a trick to programming it ?

The module should either be behind the drivers dash or behind the panel on the passenger side dash if yours has that. If there’s a panel, pull it up and see if there’s a switch connected to program. Then go to trimarkcorp.com and enter your coach information under the support tab for keyless entry. That will walk you through the steps for using the switch or if you have to jumper a terminal to get into program mode.

John, like Bobby mentioned, the programming takes place under the lift off black cover in front of the passenger seat (was on my 13 Aspire). I had to reprogram one of mine one time, but when I programmed it, I had to program both FOBS and the switches above the bed - could not just do one of them - just FYI. Just make sure they all work once programming is complete.

Thank you all, I tried that, still have one fob that won’t program and the other two don’t lose programming once I enter the program mode under the dash. Still puzzled. Could my FOB be bad ?

I would say yes they can go back - happened to my Jeep Key Fob while out west - stranded the DW, and mine worked when I met her. Had to have another one made - about $200

John,, I went by a locksmith that deals with Auto Fobs and can check if the FOB is good, or defective. There is probably a mobile service you can call to see if they can test and fix and/or replace yours. I assume they will need to be at the coach to test and program a new one if necessary.

You can call Entegra and see what they have (may be less expensive) - they can probably sell you one and hopefully it will program properly to your coach. Sounds like your current FOB just quit.

You can get the fob from either Entegra or Trimark. Trimark info here: https://www.trimarkcorp.com/mobile/z...platformid=120

You probably need the 2 button version.
FWIW, I paid $22 for the 4 button version in 2018 ordered from Trimark.

However, to be sure it is probably best to contact parts@entegracoach.com with your VIN and a photo to ask for pricing, entegra part number and vendor part number. Then contact Trimark and get a price from them and/or Google it to see if available elsewhere.

Oftentimes pricing will be much better purchasing from other than Entegra. Entegra is ok with this and in my dealings with them, they will usually suggest where to find better pricing if they know. Entegra does not charge for shipping.

Also might be worth trying another battery, could have a weak one that can light up the indicator but not be transmitting properly.

X2 what Rob said. I recently had a new remote battery that tested 3v, but would not work under a load. Tried another battery and it worked fine, put the other battery back in, it wouldn't work.
