If you will only be dimming LEDs then you'll want to use an LED dimmer. If your LEDs are emitting heat then they are being over driven by excessive current. On of the great things about LEDs is no emitted heat.

Changing to LED's won't damage a thing. Supposedly Entegra has changed those lights to LED's on the later models.
I don't know about the dimming but I did read a post that you could leave one standard bulb in if the LED's did not dim, then they would all dim. I haven't tried it so I don't know if it works or not.

I swapped the puck light bulbs above the kitchen counter from those 10w incadescent bulbs to LED disks. Now they only partially dim. It's difficult to find a nice soft white bulb replacement when you look at the web and every other guy from China sells them saying they are good for RVs and dimmable. If you know someone who has actually purchased a certain model bulb and used them in your RV then benefit from their research, but there are many combinations to try.

We had ours swapped to LED. They still dim and there's no heat. The light has more of a yellow hue but we are happy with them - and we won't be replacing bulbs as often.

that's why I decided to go led 1 went out the first week and they get warm big time. I left the 2 over the stove in did not get a chance to check them as I was cleaning up for storage. only reason I left the 2 over stove is im not a contorsionist.

I bought them for $6 each online at http://shop.americanrver.com/index.cgi?code=3&cat=6. I got the warm white bulbs and they are a close match for the originals in both color and in intensity. They can be partially dimmed but not as dim as the originals, but it is easy to solve that by just selectively turning some of the fixtures off.
