By the way, I would bet my motorhome that the 1mm dollar motorhomes are not perfect on delivery either.
Does that mean we are suppose to accept delivery of a more than $300,000 motor home that are unsafe to drive (massive air leaks) and look like they have been painted at Maaco and then given a salt bath? Some people can if they want, but I will not, not for my money. I did not ask for perfection on my delivery, but I did ask for a new looking MH and one that was safe to drive. I have owned a few MH and know what a new MH looks and drives like. Did I expect a PDI list?, without a question of a doubt, but I sure didn't expect what showed up when I was called to say" your MH is ready to be picked up". I heard in Canada if a dealer tried to deliver a MH with known air leaks and failing the air brake test the fines could be as high as $25,000. Maybe we need the same protection from our dealers.
Will the new department that Pat referred to in the OP solve this.....I'll have to see it to believe it. I am very happy for those that have had good service from the dealer in question, I just happen to be one that is not. Thankfully I have a manufacture that I have complete faith in that I will receive a new MH from. This is the time I am glad I bought the brand I did.
