Leaky tag

I have a 2019 Entegra Anthem. I am currently located north of Tampa in North Lutz Florida 34637. My drivers side tag axel (wheel) is leaking oil and coating the wheel. It was just repaired in Cuba Missouri Last week and is now leaking again. I am near the dealership where I purchased it new, but last visit took them two months to make repairs. Can someone suggest a dealer (Spartan, Freightliner etc) or respectable shop that I can use for repairs?

Ocala Cummins is a good shop. I have used them a number of times. John Herman Manager .
You may want to pull the cover and inspect the oil level...perhaps they over filled the hub. Level should be between the low and full line. Call Spartan, they can walk you thru it as well.

Ocala is excellent, but you also have a Cummins Coach care in Tampa. The wheel seal is easy to replace. It's finding someone that is a real mechanic is the hard part. I had 5 replaced, the last one by Entegra/Spartan, twice, it was leaking again by the time I got home. Replaced it myself, amazing it never leaked again.

Who in the world did you get to repair it in Cuba Mo. Must have been the truck stop. I use to live there and don’t think anyone else in town could do it.
You should have taken it 10 miles south to Hewkins in Steelville.

tag leak

Update on my leaky tag. With Spartan's pre-approval I took the coach to a repair station in STL who replaced the seal. Spartan was very cooperative and assured me they would reimburse me, but I had to pay the bill myself then they would reimburse me.

I then drove to Tampa Fl. near my destination I noticed a great deal of oil leaking again. I removed the hub and the oil level was low. Again I contacted Spartan who agreed to pay for service at Cummins in North Tampa.

I took the coach to Cummins and they said that the rear hub was cracked and they felt the problem may of been created by over tightening by the shop in STL.

Cummins pre-approved service at Cummins. Problem fixed I submitted the bill to Spartan who said they would only pay the Cummins shop in Tampa and would not reimburse me for the shop in STL, even though they said they would pay.

Bottom line, the problem is fixed. I did everything by the book with Spartan, pre-approval of all work performed. Spartans refusal to reimburse me for the STL shop I will not receive reimbursement for this expense!

I am surprised that Spartan would promise reimbursement then change their mind.

That is not right Don't waste your time arguing with Spartan. Just call Joyce. She carries a big stick!

contact the stl repair shop. its their responsibility, all companies carry liability insurance. even a one man shop like me carries shop liability. i work full time for hwh, but i still carry personal liability on myself.

I fought the leaking hub seal through six changes, 3 at Entegra's Spartan shop. Finally gave up fighting with everyone, it was easier to change it myself the right way. Couldn't believe it, sealant was applied at 1 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 11 o'clock. I guess they learned how to be mechanics from watch denture adhesive commercials.
Applied Permatex gasket sealer properly, never leaked again. It's really an easy job, why Spartan has such a hard time is beyond me.
