I have seen them while scouting under the coach. Don't know all the codes but will hope the techs knows what they are doing.

That's how all the wiring in our 2002 Dutch Star is, even the house wiring.

So let's see, want to make sure I understand. One OP is at least, in part, wrong. At least some of the wiring is coded. May not know the codes, but Spartan does. My understanding is the multiplex wiring is color coded so lighting and shades are in harness, run together during coach wiring. That suggests, at least in what I saw at the factory, that that coach wiring is identifiable, at least to someone in the know. The wiring to the cameras is labeled at the "triggers" according to one poster (although I don't know what that means yet). So let's see, that leaves the entertainment system, the heating and AC, and the front of the coach, which in part is labeled because some of that wiring is Spartan chassis wiring.

I guess I'm running out of wiring that may not be identified. I guess maybe the major thing missing is a wiring diagram, which Entegra hasn't provided, although I saw the manuals in one coach that had at least some semblance of a flow diagram for several things including the inverters. The whole wiring issue sounds more and more like an opinion rather than fact. Of course, wiring to a USAF jet mechanic would probably be lacking, but my AF days tell me that the government paid a pretty penny for that level of documentation.

Maybe this issue isn't so much of an issue as I was beginning to wonder about. Hmmmm.

Hmmm, what I remember about Air Force wiring was miles and miles of white wiring with no labels and each wire had to be traced to figure out which wire goes to what pin.

My 2003 Beaver had EVERY wire in the coach labeled like that. Glad Spartan does it and I'm disappointed that Entegra does not.

Just today, I phoned CS about an issue with my backup monitor. They had me work behind the dash and told me exactly which wire to look for. One of the wires I needed was labelled, some not, but CS knew exactly what I was to look for within quite a spaghetti of wires. All is working now. That's not perfect, but it was certainly good enough to solve my problem. Yes, I too would like a diagram, but if it isn't available, experienced CS people are a great substitute.

That is the same way I remember it, white with red MIL spec numbers. I pulled miles of it doing the ejection seat Mod in the F-4's. Now I am dating myself

And you had to have a Masters Degree in electronics to understand the Tech Manual when it came to the wiring.

On my 2006 Fleetwood the wiring was all marked in this fashion both on the Freightliner chassis as well as the coach house wiring. I believe Tiffin also labels all their wiring this way. I heard Entegra may be planning or has already begun implementing this feature.

And probably some A/1C was doing the work on the Phantom.

Chuck,
You say you are dating yourself,,, I pulled miles and miles of that stuff hanging the Hound Dog on B-52's. Worked the ECM location just aft of main flight deck. Now that is dating one's self.
