LED side marker replacements for 2022 Entrgra Anthem

Hey guys!

Looking for some upgraded/better looking/brighter LED amber and red side marker LEDs for our new 2022 Anthem.

The chrome surrounds on these lights are pitted to hell due to improper chrome cleaning from previous owners. Would love to replace them all and get some brighter lights in the process.

Has anybody upgraded them? Any recommendations? I see big rig chrome stores have tons of options, but no idea of any of them will work for this coach.

According to DOT regulations, they have to be reflectors as well. Years ago, they were only lights and flashed along with the turn signals which worked quite well. Then Entegra changed to just marker lights with reflectors that didn't flash. Quite a few owners, including myself, were pretty unhappy about this, especially since the turn signals down low on just the front of the coach leave a lot to be desired in visibility.

Your coach "should" have their latest style which are reflectors, markers, and signals all in one. I haven't looked in a few years, but at that time there weren't too many options that had all 3 in one assembly.

As far as what will "work" any LED light will hook up and operate, each light has power and ground ran to it. If you are looking for an absolute "plug in" swap option, you will likely need to stick with what Entegra installed. However, simple water proof butt connectors are relatively cheap and quite easy to install with the proper crimp tool, which opens the field up to most LED's

Edit: After Entegra changed my side lights to the interim non flashing marker / reflector LED's, I changed my '17 Anthem to bright LED marker / flasher lights which made the coach MUCH more visible to lane changes. I was always going to install a separate reflector above or below each light but never got around to it.

I'm not overly impressed with the visibility of the flasher / turn signals on my side markers, but haven't found something yet that I'd like to replace them with.

I've often thought a BRIGHT LED flasher on the bottom of the Mirror Arm would be a great idea for visibility instead of just the marker light that is installed now. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel I have been in numerous situations in traffic where the other people didn't realize I was trying to turn (but needed them to move first due to the size of the coach) because the turn signals just aren't that visible at the front of the coach, especially from a quartering front / side view.

This may be more information than asked for. I changed the ones on the 19 before they were turn signasl from the factory. Entegra finally had their lights custom made to be the needed 3rd wire to flash. None of others at the time that were plug and play would flash. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/rep...ll-386923.html

Yeah, I may just replace the LED sidemarkers with the same from Entegra. The biggest issue I have is that the "chrome" is worn off the surrounds on these lights. They are decently bright, but could stand to be brigther for extra safety.

Agreed. I wish they would have added an extra turn signal to the mirror arm and use the LED arrow version in the mirror itself, which helps people to see the turn signal. Ramco makes a mirrror with the LED arrow embedded into the mirror panel.

Love it or hate it, there’s a reason why Prevost puts all the lights down the side of the coach. You can’t miss it when they are turning or changing lanes. Notice the reflectors are completely separate.

The mirror arm light can easily made flashable. We did it on the classics when we made all of the side lights flash with the turn signals. Run the wire from the mirror light down to the front turn signal wire on each side.
The post is long, many of us had a ball following Richards advise and made all of our marker light turn signals, then someone came up with the idea to ad the mirror. I changed all of the my 2 LED lights to 10 LED's. There was NO mistake when I was changing lanes. Much safer.
