Sorry, I misunderstood about needing awning lights.
For the undercharge, I would use the brighter weatherproof 5050's. The do get dirty and dimmer from road grime, the brighter the better.
A tip for undercarriage sticking..... a good tip was posted here and it works great. Clean the frame well, use metallic duct tape where you want place the lights. The 3M tape sticks much better and it also gives a reflective surface. The 3M adhesive sticks much better to the slick surface of the metallic duct tape and not well to a rough frame.
