Coming home yesterday we were behind a Semi in "Heavy slow traffic" on I10 and he veered for a "large" metal object about two feet or more long and I was slow to react. We took an impact on the right side tires and our rear Sweep was totally trashed on that side but did its job sweeping it off to the side and saved our toad. Lesson learned. Stay "well" back of Semis in any traffic and and have at least a 4 wheeler ahead with much better maneuverability and more visual ahead of you to lead the way. Hope this saves someone and keeps the criticism low.

Have you inspected you tires CLOSELY for signs of damage????
Hate stop and go traffic.
Hard to 'maintain' proper distance cause as soon as you put enough distance between you and vehicle ahead some YAHOO will zip into the space
Makes one tempted to rear-end them......
