My original MS2812 (manufactured in 2011) inverter bit the farm last year so the replacement is of 2018 vintage...it is software rev 5.9 and I think I read that >5.4 is what Magnum recommends.

Be aware of the current handling capabilities of the battery BMS. I went with three 200ah units instead of two 300ah. As this gave the battery bank a 450a instead of 300a discharge rate. Can matter for generator start.
