locked out cargo door

I closed the rear cargo door, the one where the sewer and water hooks ups are located. I cannot get it to open. It seems the locking mechanism is not engaging. I suspect the cable is let go. However this area does not appear to be accessible from inside the basement so I dont know how to get it open. Do I need to force it open with a prybar? Anyone have ideas or experience with this?

Does your sewer hose exit through the bottom after removing a plug, if so: you get the idea. If the cables are visible on the other bays, drill a hole in the bottom and try snagging the cable with a coat hanger or something.

Outside shot, look through the space for where the dead bolt comes in and use a scree driver or some thing flat and push in on dead bolt. Then hit the unlock.

I had one that was real tight. This worked.

There is a previous thread for Entegras on this...might do a search.

Not sure if this will help but...I've found that if you try to open a bay door that is locked it pops the mechanism. To unlock it, you need to push in on the cargo bay door while simultaneously hitting the cargo unlock button. That takes the pressure off of the dead bolt and allows it to release.

Locksmith got it open. He used a long flat tool with a hook on end. Fit it in from under coach up inside door and hooked the latch to open.

Guess I better start locking mine! Can't lock or unlock the baggage doors on mine with the engine running so after hooking up toad/trailer need to put my gloves up.....same as when fueling...so they don't get locked.
