Looking at GVW - What does your Anthem DEQ GVW sticker say?
I was thinking about a previous post related to corner weights and tires where somebody asked how much does your Entegra weigh. I was going to do the RV Safety 4 corner weigh at Tampa but events came up and I ended up in a deal to trade my 13 Aspire DEQ for a 14 Anthem 44B. I was wondering about how much more the Anthem44B weighed vs my 42ft Aspire thinking about tire weights and get up and go. I had a previous RV near max weight and wanted to avoid that. I'd like to know from someone with a 13 or 14 Anthem 42 DEQ what their yellow sticker says behind the dtiver seat where it says "The weight of this recreation vehicle Motorhome at the factory....." is?
Here's what I've got so far
My 13 Aspire 42 DEQ says.....35,826
The show 44B Anthem says....38,606
Difference 2780
Load capacity
My 13 Aspire 42 DEQ..........10,774
Show Anthem 44B..............10,394
Difference 380 lbs
Must be tire capacities
Any 42 Anthem DEQs out there?

Sorry I can't help, but CONGRATULATIONS on the new Anthem. When will it be ready?

The DEQ says on the sticker, delivered from the factory with full fuel: 38,646.
9948 for cargo, including the weight of water and the tow weight on the hitch.
I'm pretty sure we don't ever come close, even with the new MC lift and MC on the back as when we've weighed (twice), we weighed both times at 41280 (prior to the MC on the back).
By the way, for those that care, the Anthem drove perfectly with the additional 1800 lbs on the tail...85 lbs in the tag tires. No lightness on the front end at all.

Way to go Dave and Debbie. How many miles will you put on the new Anthem this year before you trade it in next year for a Cornerstone?
But seriously, what color combos do you have on the Anthem?
Ron.

I heard that someone had traded their Aspire for an Anthem...the Aspire was in very good shape and was sold the same day. I am assuming that must have been yours, Dave.
In any event, congrats on the upgrade.

I'm not sure I can top 15,000 mi like last year with the Aspire. We ordered an Anthem 44B with the Tuscan Sun exterior (it looks funky on the brochure but is pretty similar to our Aspire Autumn Berry in real life), the Tuscan glaze Cherry woods and the Mocha fabrics/leather. Heather at Entegra said they started building this past friday. The expected arrival date is late March. It will be a "late model 2014". Joyce said the factory lost a few days last week with the record cold. I want them to take their time and do a good job. We already have several interested parties for our trade.
The Cornerstone in my future is dependent on my lottery success.

I hear that...we're thinking of making that upgrade, but they have to come up with some new floor plans...the 44B just lacks the living space we have in the DEQ with the salon. Have to have my easy chair.
We're hoping the full wall slide, maybe on the passenger side, might make an appearance by 2016 models (but I couldn't get anyone to give a peep as to whether that was a possibility, even with Entegra's first in the Aspire).

Dave,
This is great! Now that Chuck is taking delivery of his new Anthem at the end of the month, I can shift my excitement to you and Debbie until March. I would have to re-enter the work force to keep up with all you guys upgrading every couple of years.
Ron.
