I just finished 1,500 miles of mostly back roads through the deserts of Oregon, California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Fuel and DEF stops are few and far between, especially name brands. My fuel rule is fill at 3/8, and my DEF at one bar. Wasn’t always possible. The point I was trying to make it is worthwhile to know exactly what your limits are.
