Didn’t say that. Fridge does have a filter inside - hence my comment about triple filtered. And just confirmed that the small filter in the storage bay does feed both the small drinking faucet on the countertop _and_ the refrigerator.

Have to replace the large filter on a new coach is common, lots of construction debris going through the lines. I know there will be those that say they never had to...but many are full of sawdust, mine was.
Chuck, that Home Depot in line filter has 1/4" fittings, the inline filter in our water bay (Flow-pur #3) has 1/2" MPT fittings?

Just changed mine yesterday. Take the nylon fittings off at both ends of the old filter and replace them in the new filter. Use Teflon tape just as the the other fittings have. Everything fits perfect. Pay attention to the inlet/outlet side. The Home Depot mounts upside down for our plumbing. I write "top" on the filter and date so I know when it was changed with a felt pen.

Chuck, on the drinking water filter, is the outlet on the bottom with the shut off the inlet or the outlet? Seems to me the shut off to this filter would be on the inlet.

I just went by the position of the factory installed filter, inlet and outlet and mounted the new filter the same way. The factory installed filter the label is right side up. The Home Depot filter will be upside down, with the inlet and outlet in the same position.
I questioned the same thing about the shutoff valve, but elected to follow the factory installation. I'm on the third filter installed that way and they have all worked fine.

I don't use the shut off valve as they break and leak to easy.

Thanks, Chuck! Question was not how filter label is stuck but does water from tank enter filter through the line with cut off? If I can be sure where water comes in, the rest is easy!

I will have to look which way the plumbing runs, I have not done that. You would think the shut off valve would be on the inlet side ...but?

That was what I was trying to accomplish earlier but no luck. I can’t tell where or which line goes to supply, but my guess is the side with the shut off. Filters I have been using Havel labels vertically and inlet marked at the bottom and outlet at top. Just wonders if anyone knew for sure! Thanks, Chuck from Pelican Lakes MCRes Dow the road from you. Shutoff valve is the inlet side to the filter prior to it supplying water to the ice maker and drinking facet at sink. Hope that helps.
