Lp Tank??

I'm sure you guys are going to think I'm crazy but we just sold our house and will be living this winter in our coach in Ohio. My question is we have a 2014 Aspire which has propane for the aqua-hot. Is it possible to place a bigger propane tank on the side of coach so I don't have to break down to refill. I have seen people do this with other coaches just never an Entegra. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. I "tee'd off of the existing line so I can run my BBQ off of the main propane tank. So you certainly can run off an extra propane cylinder. They make an extension called xtend a stay. You can find it at camping world.

Extend-A-Stay propane adapter kit. Besides propane tank adapter it also has a port to hook up gas grills, etc. We hardly ever use main tank propane. Installs in apx 20 minutes.

Check out RV Geeks Website or You Tube on their winter camping and follow up tips.
Timing on selling our house in WI during winter has me thinking this might be us too! Hope not.
Good luck.

An easy solution is to look in a local phone book or that there internet to find a local Propane Supplier, there might be a surcharge for delivery of a small amount, but they will delivery directly to you Coach.

Quite a few campgrounds already have scheduled deliveries. However, an extend a stay connection is good insurance

I will be staying at a military campground, it's tough for these guys to get on base. Couldn't find anyone that's will fill a small tank like we have on the coach. But they said I could get up to a 250 gallon tank, that should last through the winter months.

Like you we have sold our house and have been living in our Aspire since June. Luckily, the campground in Texas has LP delivered. The second campground does not have deliveries. If anyone has a good lp burn rate for winter camping, I wood like to hear it for planning purposes

Thanks
Herb

Herb,

We stayed in our Aspire for about 6 months from late October until about April at Traders Village in Grand Prairie in 2015. (The Vineyards was closed from flooding) I filled my Propane tank 3 or 4 times, and that was not a very cold winter here. If you balance the heat pumps during the days when in the 40's to 50's, the Propane lasted about 45 days during the colder nights when we ran floor heat most of the time, and the furnace on colder nights. The fireplace was a big help in the Texas winter. I did not check into a delivery service, but it would have made it easier to fill. Hope you are enjoying being on the road full time!!
