Macerater hose won't drain

My macerater hose will not drain, even though it is vented. I walk the liquids the length of the hose several times but the hose is still not empty. Anybody have this problem?

Leave your great tank valve open while you walk the hose.
Stow the hose.
Close gray tank valve.

I don't have that problem anymore. I simply unhook the hose, walk it to the sewer pipe and and stow it in the locker. I modified the plumbing from the macerator to go out the bottom of the wet bay (see white pipe in photo) and installed the cam lock coupling. The fear of having a frozen hose is eliminated.

This is the way the factory should have plumbed it to begin with! Factory plumbing creates an air lock leaving you with a hose full of.............

Your right. And during cold weather that hoes full of stuff is stored in a non heated metal box.
