Macerator fuse or Circuit breaker?
Can anyone tell me where the Mercator fuse or circuit Breaker is located on a 2022 Aspire? Yes, I checked, it is not on the G6 panel.

On our 2017 Aspire it's behind a panel in the bay in front of the fresh water tank. But CS is more reliable than me for correct info!

Ok I found it, I think. It appears to be a self-resetting circuit braker. Now for the problem, I was hoping to find a tripped circuit braker or burned fuse. The dump Mercator is apparently not running, at least I do not hear it running when turn the switch in the wet bay on. So, what do I do now?

You might find useful info here: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/mac...nt-485282.html
Power to the macerator motor is controlled by a relay. Inexpensive and available at most auto parts stores.
Take care,
Stu

Jim, I purchased these on Amazon to carry as spares. Relays are a common failures as the best quality was not used as OEM's. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J5CLCR8...n_title_3&th=1

I just pulled the relay after untangling the harness from around the plumbing. I was fortunate there was enough slack otherwise I would have had a time pulling the relay out of the socket. As it was it took about 15 minutes of fiddling to get it untangled. When I pulled the relay, it was noticeably warmer to the touch than any of the other components near it in the wet bay. The coach has been sitting with the heater turned off for two days. It appears the relay always has power running through it even if the Mercator is not running.

I got a new relay but when I tried it still no Macerator. One interesting thing when I plugged the new relay in it clicked even though the macerator switch was off. I then tried the old relay, and it also clicked. That leaves two possibilities first the new relay is bad. Second the relay is good, and the problem lies somewhere else.

Not a good sound. Macerator motor has gone bad. Hope I'm wrong.

Lots of great macerator troubleshooting info here: SANICON TURBO MACERATOR DIAGNOSE MY2016 TO CURRENT (2) (3).PDF
There's also a macerator motor thermal protection that has been known to fail in a way that prevents the motor from running. It's possible to bypass so you can to run the macerator.
IF it turns out to be the pump motor, that's not a very fun job with a couple of different ways to handle the replacement. If it comes to that, here's a thread that describes how I approached that challenge: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/mac...ay-581261.html
Take care,
Stu

One question
The write ups describe the relay as located near the hose real on the right side. On my coach the relay is located on the left side behind the filter housing. I only found just one relay could there be a second?
Also my 2021 Aspire does not exactly match any of the descriptions of where to troubleshoot the problem. I have attached photos showing the electrical panel on the passenger side near the battery box.

To the best of my recollection, there's only one relay in the wet bay. The text in the .pdf I provided reads: THE RELAY IS LOCATED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE WET BAY BY OR BEHIND THE COVER BOARD NEAR THE WATER HOSE REEL.
Focus on the "OR BEHIND THE COVER BOARD NEAR THE WATER HOSE REEL", rather than left or right side.
Unless you have powered tank drain valves, I don't think there's anything else in the wet bay that would require the use of a relay.
If you can check power on the wires that run from the relay to the macerator motor, you should be able to confirm whether, or not, there's power to the macerator motor. IF there's power to the macerator motor and it's not running, I'd suspect a failed motor.
Take care,
Stu

If it turns out to be the motor, Jeanne, Magic Carpet came up with how to replace just the motor instead of the entire unit. Stu did an excellent post with step by step and the best place to get a new motor assembly. Between the two of them, the made a bad job a lot easier.
Hint, spray all of the screws down the night before with PB Blaster Original Formula. Some will still break, replace all with Stainless Steel.
