Sorry. I have had it worked on but did not do the work myself. Looked at what the guys were doing every once in a while but did not see the disassembly or re-assembly part. There is a glass part where you could theoretically see into the chamber and see the impeller, but it is on the bottom and there is no way to see into it without removal.
Now, I can tell you that my motor was never jammed.... it just burned out for no apparent reason.
There have been several pretty informative threads published up here in the past year. Try this: go into the search box at the top of this forum and search only iRV2, not the whole web. Enter this .... ENTEGRA: macerator motor replacement and enter and see what you get. If that doesn't work, try the same but add the words Gary Jones to the search string. If that doesn't work, free associate words that seem relevant. I guarantee that it will give you a ton of information.
