Mail forwarding
Good morning All,
I was wondering if I could get some input as to the best mail forwarding service and why.
I would appreciate any help.
Regards,
Carl

Carl, this year, because we would be moving around quite a bit, we decided to get a forwarding service. Did some research and decided on St Brendan’s Isle. We took their “scan” service which lets you see the contents of any mail you choose in PDF form for downloading. Works great. Very responsive and dependable regarding shipping our mail to us. I can’t say about any other service, but I can recommend these folks.

I am using St. Brendan's Isles (904)284-1200 in St Augustine. From where we are located, it is one day across the state for the mail to be forwarded, instead of 3 or 4 day to SD or another state. Their daily scanning has been perfect as is their service. The biggest problem is the Post office, they still have a problem with "mail forwarding" After 60 years they still can't get it right. Last year they blamed it on Irma and the computer system, the year before it was dust storms in Saudi Arabia or somewhere.

We use dakotapost.net out of Sioux Falls, SD and love it
We use the scan and mail service as well. Since we are full time this is the best for us

We use Escapees in Livingston Tx. You can also set up the Livingston Tx address as your domicile. Texas like Florida does not have a state income tax

Mail Forwarding Sevices are in the Business of frowarding mail efficiently, securely and in a timely manner.
They are also registered as 'Commerical Mail Receiving Agents' as required by the USPS
Have never read any negative posts/reviews of any of the commonly used mail forwarding services for RVs...........FL, SD, TX
We used 'Alternative Resources'---Sioux Falls, SD (now DakotaPost) for several years
We swapped to Americas Best when we 'moved' to Rapid City
Others use Escapees and St. Brendan's Isles
Pick which state you plan on claiming as 'domicile' and then check out the various services/options provided by the mail forwarding companies doing business in that state to use as your legal address.

I've been using MyRVMail ( https://www.myrvmail.com/) for about 5 years. We travel 5 -6 months a year.
I can't claim that they're the best, but, they've been flawless for me.
Their scan service, daily update, easy web-based and phone app are simple to use.
On a couple of occasions, I had set up a scheduled, weekly delivery of accumulated mail and neglected to stop that before I left a location. They send an email notification of shipment immediately when they create a shipping label. I saw the notification before the delivery had been picked up. A quick phone call and they intercepted the shipment, credited my account and put the mail back into my mailbox.
That seemed to me to be beyond my expectations.
My error.
Created additional work for them.
They cheerfully fixed it for me.
Take care,
Stu

What part of Cape Coral are you in? I am on the SE side, just South of the Mid Point.
St. Brendan's Isles has worked great for us as they receive the mail from the Cape PO in one day. https://www.sbimailservice.com/ That has been important a couple of times for us. With the scanning everyday, we normally don't have our mail sent to us until we get home. We save all scanned mail in a PDF file and really don't need the hard copies.

We use AMERICAS MAILBOX in Box Elder,SD and have been very satisfied with their service to include mail forwarding, registering our vehicles and address as Full Timers. We always have our 1st class mail ( what little we get ) forwarded USPS Priority and do not use their scan services. We liked that the owners are also Full Timers but I'm sure all provide similar good service !

Brain, I had to laugh thinking about your post, it's true....since junk mail is not forwarded, how little mail we really do get. We sometimes go 3-4 days without the "you've got mail" email. Our local utilities are about the only ones that not do online billing yet, as the OP knows, but soon, maybe this year.

If you are or are planning to go full time, pick a forwarder in the state that you plan to domicile. That will simplify things and provide you with a "home" address.
We are full time, domicile in FL and have been using St. Brendan's since 2010, never had a problem. They were a big help on our first trip to the FL DMV.
