I certainly agree with this and those roads will bring new rattles and wind noises. They have with every coach I have owned including this one.

Just suggesting that roads result in maintenance too, but pointing to the house, not the chassis which would probably like about another 75k a year than most of us put on them.

My Mom always said I was lucky. Guess it's still going.

We're just getting our feet wet in terms of care and maintenance of our new (to us!) coach. We've owned it roughly 7 months - and have covered roughly 4,000 miles and have spent roughly 80 nights in it. We haven't had any major issues with the coach or house systems (knock on wood!) - but have quickly come to realize that owning a coach is definitely a tinkerer's dream. It seems like there's always something that needs to be tightened, re-attached, put back into place, reinforced, repaired, etc. We've also quickly realized that cultivating a "gentle touch" when it comes to using the coach is a good thing.

If I had to translate it into hours - I suspect I spend a 2-3 hours a month on coach maintenance. There's fluid checks that need to be performed any time you intend to move it. You'll want to keep it as clean as you can. You certainly don't want to let an emerging problem fester ... when you notice something starting to come a little loose, it's best to tighten it sooner rather than later!

I can't speak for anybody else ... but personally, futzing over the coach is more of a "labor of love" than any house or car I've owned previously.

Thanks all!

I appreciate all y'alls responses so far.

I anticipate the usual vehicle maintenance issues/checks as you move about the country. So mentally prepared to deal with pulling dipsticks and checking for leaks on the MH and toad.

But, like to think I've evolved to a higher life form and am willing to employ some great Americans who are professionals at servicing my rig when it needs it. I do all my hunting and fishing at the local Kroger. It sorta scares the other customers when I come in around Thanksgiving to shoot my annual turkey in the frozen food section Not that I don't appreciate and admire those of you who are mechanical fanaticals I've been paid by the government too long to become a do'er, instead of a thinker.

As to the configuration of the coach, I'd love to be able to afford a Cornerstone, but think the Anthem is more in my price range as my first purchase. I'd love it if Entegra would make the driver's side table and two loose chairs a stand-alone recliner configuration option in the 44B, but Tadd wasn't too forthcoming on the 2019 mods when we spoke with him at Hershey.

And every configuration in the Cornerstone...except the DEQ, Stew...because that is not what Pat thinks the buying public wants (along with "Melancholy" interior!).

Corey, for all the good I see, some things like shades just irritate the heck out of me (or I can't help laughing...the "sad" interior). By the way, met an Entegra owner that used to be a regional sales manager for Newmar...just saying, considering our discussions Insights privately, if your interested.
