MHSRV vs. Lazy Days?

We've been getting quite the runaround at LD Tucson. Interest rate suddenly jumped, etc. Live about 250 miles from MHSRV. Thinking about just heading there. Any comments from any of you who have dealt with both dealers?

I'd talk to several, including the new dealership up in Oregon...Beaver Sales and Service...they were pretty interesting at Summerfest II. Are you thinking upgrade to Cornerstone?

I bought 2 coaches from MHSRV last year. The sales staff is salaried, not commissioned so there is no pressure. They all seem knowledgeable. The service department is almost overwhelmed with deliveries so service after the sale can be tough. They are expanding the service area so service after the sale will improve. It's been a year since we bought our Anthem so I am sure the Entegra knowledge and delivery process has improved.

If we were to buy another coach MHSRV would be our first stop.

I'd try to do all the bargaining by phone and email with several dealers before I made a long trip and end up in the clutches of one dealer. Also, call National Indoor RV in Lilburn, GA ((770) 979-4051) after you get the others' prices and see if they will beat them. They have a facility in Dallas (where you might be able to take delivery if you purchase from GA - don't know for sure) but they can't sell directly out of TX because of MSHRV having the rights.

I had the same experience with LD Tucson ,so I contacted MHSRV for a quote which was far lower than LD.I had a good experience in there pre delivery and test drive.
Only negative is I haven't heard from them once I drove off the lot.

I have not dealt with Lazy Days but I have purchased two coaches from MHSRV and been very happy both times. As a previous poster said, the sales staff are salaried so it's a no pressure experience.

Both Texas RV Dealer, Used RVs for sale, motorhome sales, new RVs and Used RVs, Motorhomes for Sale, and Consigned sales - PPL Motor Homes in Texas are known for their decent prices and very nice service. Check them out, you never know you might find something you really like.

We purchased a 2014 Anthem from MHSRV earlier this year. Sale was very uneventful and we were treated very well by Robert Langley (Cowboy) our salesman and Steve Ewing who did our PDI. Our delivery was a three day process and we camped on site. I wanted to make sure all systems worked as intended.
I would highly recommend both these gentlemen and expect you would get the same wuality attention that we enjoyed.

We just happened to go by MHS in Cleburne AND nirvc saturday morning....

OMG MHSRV is 3 times bigger than it was last year when we stopped in !

Really nice upgrades to their lots - must have been a really good year for them !

Don't know if they've expanded their service staff to account for all the new lines they are selling, but whew, it is huge - wraps around the hotel that's been there !!!

MUCH nicer shopping experience @ nirv in Lewisville - temperature wise
after all, it's Texas and haven't even gotten to full summer yet !

Thanks, we've been there and looked at the website quite a bit. We are quite specific in what we need and they just don't seem to ever have.

They have a pretty expansive website. I'd check it first to see if they have what you're specifically looking for. MHSRV is a very good dealer IMO. They'll give you a golf cart to ride around in and let you look all you want.

I recommend contacting Robin at RVONE in Orlando, best price I found, outstanding service.

We just shopped at MHSRV for an afternoon but didn't end up buying there. There were two things that kept us from pulling the trigger.

First, the sales guy (very nice by the way) said the marked down sticker price was a no haggle price. That would have been okay except he also said all they would do on my 2008 Monaco for trade was average wholesale. That difference was too much.

Second, the color of the Anthem 42DEQ they had just didn't move me that much. I wanted a different color scheme.

After that, I found one I liked at NIRV in GA. They negotiated to an acceptable difference between their price and my trade - all over the phone. Once we reached agreement on price we put down a credit card deposit and eventually drove our old coach to trade for the new one. They would not agree to the transaction happening in Dallas and were pretty firm on that. I suspect it has to do with the GA location being an official Entegra dealer and the Dallas location not.

I can highly recommend NIRV in general because we have used them in Dallas since 2008. The guy who started the GA location (Todd Springs) worked with us for repeated repairs/mods/service here in Dallas before going to open that facility and he is excellent. They are very service oriented and I trusted them (and still do) for that reason.

The NIRV new coach process needs to be tightened up. The Entegra PDI checklist was used by the mechanics to test stuff before we got there. They had guys show us the major components, but in hindsight I wish I had insisted on going through the list again so I could see it all. My bad for not insisting.

Our new coach is now having warranty work done at the Dallas location. You have to jump through some hoops to get it done there because they are not an official Entegra service location. You basically pay for the repairs and then are reimbursed by Entegra. I will do that and am fine with it because I really want NIRV to do the work. They are good and I trust them.

I would do the deal again with NIRV but if the numbers had worked out at MHSRV I would have done a deal with them too. All in all I am over the moon with the new coach. The trip to Atlanta was an added adventure that was fun too.
