Michelin X Multiway 3D XZE

Just spoke with Michelin and they said the the replacement tire for the Pilote XZA1 315/80R 22.5 is the Michelin X Multiway 3D XZE. Has anyone put this tire on their coach? Curious to know if they are an improvement?

Yes , I had them installed on our coach 6 months ago. Made the 40mile trip home and a couple of 30 minute exercise runs since then. They seem to perform well. But have yet to take it on a long run. I donít think you will feel an improvement, other than the fact that they are new. New tires most always have a better feel.

but they are only available on the 295/80R-22.5 size. The O.P. is looking for 315's.

Correction on post #4. Mine were 315's not 215's.

I apologize. I confused the series of tires with X Coach HL Z.

From what has been posted here for years Goodyear tires
Check the search function where many have been posted with damage photos. HDGoidie had her coach totaled because of Goodyear's

Replaced my driver and tag axle tires a few months back. They were the 315/80R22.5 Xline Energy Z tires. The steer tires were 375/70R22.5 XZA series because they don't yet make the fat 365s in the Xline Energy series but the Michelin dealer did state that this will be the go-to tire in both sizes eventually.

I love my Goodyear Duratracs on my Wrangler but there is no way I would ever put the Goodyear RV tires on my motorhome.

There have been MANY steer tire blowouts with Goodyear tires, including mine. Donít even consider them.
