Microwave

Has anyone changed out the Samsung micro wave convection oven to another brand? If so, which one and how do you like it? I'm on number 3 and having problems again. Thanks in advance

We were potentially on our third in less than a year and gave up on Samsung. Went to a GE Profile Microwave/Convection oven Model# PVM9179SFSS. We had posted a previous question for suggested replacements ourselves and there were several that had gone this route as well as a Sharp model microwave/convection. Do not remember the Sharp model.

The removal and reinstall went real well. We removed the old one and were going to have someone put in the new one, real challenge finding people willing to install anything in an RV. We had to go to Motor Home Specialists for some quick work on the 1/2 bath and replacement of the water pump and our favorite technician, Corey, put the new one in for us much quicker than I ever could have. I will say it was easier to do than the one we did in the home just before we sold it. Had we done it that is. It was a lot easier since Corey did it...

Since 2002 we've had nothing but GE Advantium 120's. Wife loves it and won't have anything else.

We went with the GE also. Hated the Samsung, love the GE. Easy swap out.

Does that one have a "real" broiler function? Does it work? We have the GE Profile and it works fine but DW misses having a broiler element.

Only other issue with GE Profile is it's sometimes very slow to preheat to the higher oven temps.
