We travel from Middlebury to Lansing Mi every year and use Hwy 120 just south of toll road, nice road with a lot less truck traffic

Avoid the Indiana toll road at all costs.

BTW, if going to Entegra from the south in Indiana. US-31 from Indianapolis north has had a number of very nice improvements over the last couple of years. Getting out of Indy is now freeway, and two of the larger towns have been bypassed eliminating a number of lights and speed zones. US-31 to 20 is my preferred route now.
