If you read the manual it states you must use Propylene Clycol based anti freeze.

I made a post sometime ago that Aqua Hot did not recommend use of the Cameo mixed with the green stuff as they have different corrosion inhibitors. Aqua Hot said to stay with what was installed, came in the unit. If Entegr CS says that they are chemically the same then they should be able to produce a chemical analysis to show this to be true. If so then the only problem would be that if mixed and the solution turns a dark tea color then the owner must tell the service personnel why the different color and flush and refill is not needed. I also said that Entegra put in the green stuff to help in identifying where a leak was occurring. Until someone can come up with a chemical analysis that shows them to be chemically the same (equivalent) I personally agree with everyone else that does not want to mix. Go back to the problem where a member had a radiator leak and put in the wrong stuff and had a major bill to fix. I am not slamming anyone here just stating facts as they are.

Noel, I didn't doubt you, or Tom that received a different statement from the CS reps at Entegra. I guess it was like my insurance quotes...every time I called the same company for a quote, I got a different price. We now have two of the same responses from AH, in writing, and that is the answer I was looking for. The manufacture of the equipment will be the one I go with.

Both anti freezes list are just that, but are they compatible if mixed? That was the question.

Well, based on my previous kitchen chemistry experiment, we know that The fancy stuff is compatible with the $10 propylene glycol Low-Tox available everywhere.
