Mixing valve in shower of 15 cornerstone
We are having trouble getting a hot or even warm shower. All of the sinks run very good hot water and the aqua hot is functioning properly as are water intake and pressure. I know I have seen in the past comments and fixes for this on the blog but as noted the search engine is useless! Any guidance would be appreciated!

Take your shower handle off and remove the anti scald piece. Took ours out years ago, works great.

What he said.
It's easier than you think.
You can thank a lawyer somewhere for these.

you can also turn your hot water setting up more.. its located behind your aqua hot unit by accessing thru the other side crawling thru your compartment.. they have a factory setting
and i kicked mine up a bit and I get hot water quicker, especially when in colder temps..
also a couple post about routinely exercising this temp knob monthly.. don't know why but they say it helps the system stay on its temp setting..

As others have said, mixing valve. Here is a photo of "how to" http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/hot-...ml#post2117382
By removing the red plastic insert, I now have adjustable hot water. All that is need is a metric alan wrench and a pair of needle nose pliers.
