Mobley throttling back speeds?
Mobley has been giving us fits all trip. Even when parked next to a cell tower it's slow as snail poop. Anyone else having issues with theirs? FYI, I haven't used it in almost two months.

Mine works great and just as fast as ever.
However, most contracts do say that after some point, the company reserves the right to control and downgrade service in high use areas or in peak use time periods. Check your contract.
Now, I also own an "unlimited" Verizon MIFI account but the fine print says that after 15 Gigs, they can slow the service and my experience is that it does slow to a point that it is useless. This is the main reason that my experience in the coach is that downloading TV shows just does not work as streaming...

I have had that problem before, unplug to reboot and see if that helps. I have bad cell service at my storage hanger. Reboot sometimes will get a better signal.
How many devices connected to the Mobley?

I have been experiencing the same issue the last few months when doing speed tests using fast.com, the only way I have found around it is by using a VPN, (I am using Surfshark VPN)

By any chance are you currently in FL? In our area of FL (sw) once the birds arrive, my Mobley drops to less than 10 all day, less than 5 in the evenings. On our recent trip we saw increased speeds as soon as we got further north.

Currently in Little Rock. Speeds are much better here. I am chalking up the slow Mobley to a poor cell signal. I just don't understand the rule of half or 1/3. Speed using my iPhone hotspot currently 38.4 vs mobley 10.3
Couple that with the fact that my TV finds the network, but can't sign on to it tells me this Mobley is toast.

The Mobley is an older outdated unit. Many have taken the SIMS card and installed them in newer mifi's.

Interesting. I am going to start looking for a replacement, perhaps a 5g. Any suggestions?

That is something when the time comes, I will need to research. The Mobley unlimited is grandfathered. From what I have seen posted, one needs to be careful what unit the card is used in. That subject is beyond my pay grade. That is more of a Voltdoc expertise.

Restart the unit.
You may be on a congested tower.

Not sure I would go with the sim car swap. I may just bite the bullet and buy something new. Verizon I think has an unlimited plan for their new 5G HS
