Model Year Items Removed ?

I was reading about the map lights being removed from 23 coaches.

That got me to thinking about what has been removed from my 22 compared to my 17. I switched from a B to a W floor plan but I think these are non floor plan specific removals. I am not even sure if other new coaches have some of these items still. Maybe a part was short when mine was built or maybe Entegra changed the design. Not a big deal but not positive changes in my view.

1. USB plugs on some outlets. We used to use them. Now they are gone so I use adapters. I know could change the outlets. I do not know why they were removed.

2. Drinking water spout by the sink. We used to use it because it had one extra filter. I do not know why the spout was removed.

3. The basement storage area above water tank. I used to use that shelf. That has been removed from this coach. I miss this convenient storage area.

4. AC outlet for my versa cooler. The cooler came with AC and DC cords but the AC outlet was removed. My cooler stays the correct temperature so I guess it is running fine on DC only. For now.

Any other takeaways I missed? Anyone with a newer coach still have these things?

That was my biggest aggravation of saving a dollar especial when Home Depot now carries a 5 gallon bottle water system that plug right into the eliminated faucet for those of us the use bottle water. Bottled Water Plus Dispensing System-BW5000-000A - The Home Depot I just cannot understand that on a high dollar coach that now I have to go though the trouble of installing one for an item that was so convenient.

I have an '18 and it has all of those things. I use and would miss the first three. The shelf above the water tank is perfect for a bag of briquettes, wood chips and lighter fluid for us charcoal guys.

It must be nice to have the time to worry about what is no longer "on" my coach...... I spend much more of my time worrying about all the stuiff that IS on my coach.

At least I don't have to worry about all the stuff that is "gone".

I inquired about the usb outlet while at Homecoming. The response was that they could not get source them without the childproof 110 outlets. I also miss the storage above the water tank. My guess was that it was removed when the fill spout was added. Might be wrong on that, but I miss it.

That is funny Gary. I would not be honest if I said I worried. We just do this to have fun…. Of course I like the things that were added far more than was removed. A few of those new things I am just figuring out.

When you get that next coach you might miss some of the old items…..

It is good to know I am not the only one that “misses” the USB outlets, water faucet, and basement shelf and it is not just my coach that does not have those minor items.

They also removed the quartz countertop material in the Cornerstone and replaced it with solid surface.

This is no loss in my opinion. We had most of the usb outlets taken out as it was nearly impossible to plug in a two prong polarized plug. Why do these coaches need a child proof outlet? The normal outlets are not child proof.

I never got mine to put out enough watts to charge any phones or tablets anyway. Once I went to plug-in AC-USB adaptors they worked fine.

Tim, not sure about other model years, but our 2018 45B Cornerstone has the shelf AND a fill spout.

The 2023 Cornerstone has the fill and shelf area as per the photo I took last week. Also a slot to allow you to view the level in the tank.

Hi - So does the '22 Anthem. Is it a floor plan issue?

The two biggest things for us, starting with the 2022 CS, is no more quartz countertops (as Cruzer said) and no more natural cherry woodwork.

And the solid surface counters come in only one color and is the same for all of their luxury diesel models.

My 19 Cornerstone is designed exactly as in Cruzer's picture,....... and I like it !

Also, I don't miss the presence of the USB outlets. They have stuck them all over the coach now and they work well.
