MHSRV is in fact the largest RV dealer in the world and has over 100 acres of RV's for sale. They tell you up front they will knock off 25% of manufactures MSRP and have competitive financing. The sales reps are instructed not to converse or confront the people on their lot looking at RVs. You can spend all day going through their inventory and if you have a question or are ready to work out a sale, you can go to the office and they will get a salesmen to answer any questions or try to work out a deal. This is how and why I spend a lot of time at their dealership as I only live 15 or so miles away. I don't know why they wouldn't give you a financing rate before a face to face and I also dislike the freebies they offer but do know the Cook Children Hospital donation they make off each sale is legit and all goes for a great cause.
I also fully agree we are in a possible bad future situation with the present political setting.
However, I worked and saved all my life for these next few years of retirement and not knowing how long I have to enjoy them I am researching what best suits my desires and will negotiate with any reputable dealer close to me with an honorable track record.

How is their service after the sale? Anyone had to deal with their service department?

Well, there are going to be a lot of Entegra owners around to talk to...we're having an ECOA mini-rally at the show, and several others will be in the main parking lot and attending.

The thing i liked about MHSRV is their internet "pricing" gave me a place to start. When I talked to other companies (I was a first timer), all I got was questions. I thought I was on a used car lot. Quite honestly, if all I'd had to go on was MSRP, I'd probably be in a gasser because of affordability "scare"...for our choices and life style that would have been a shame. JMHO

RTV - MHSRV's service after the sale leaves a lot to be desired. They are more delivery oriented than service oriented. They are expanding and will have a multiple bay service center and will separate the delivery and service centers.

i helped my buddy drop his off for service last week. He is at the end of his first year so packing in a few warranty issues. I'm impressed. They have called him almost daily with updates, and got it started a full week ahead of schedule. I only wish I had this experience with servicing my coach.

We purchased our new RV in August at MHSRV. Our salesman was Jimmy Campana. We do not live in Texas and I wanted to make sure that this dealership & salesman were going to be a good fit for us. I checked the list of salesmen on the website then did some typing in to google and liked best what I read about Jimmy. Then, I e-mailed him. He responded & asked if it would be alright to call. He was not pushy at all. We knew exactly what rig we wanted and it was on MHSRV's lot. We were planning a trip to Albuquerque so we stopped to visit friends near Dallas & went over to MHSRV to meet Jimmy. He knew we were coming & had the rig set aside for us. What I appreciated about our experience with Jimmy was he treated both my DH & myself equally. There wasn't any "little lady" attitude. We had questions & Jimmy had most of the answers. If he didn't he got on his phone & called someone who did. Either someone in service or at one point, calling his contact at the manufacturer. Without hesitation, call Jimmy Campana & talk with him about the RV you want.

This family owned company knows what they're doing. Like others have said, no pressure. If you just stop by, they have golf carts for you to go around the property & look at rigs on your own. Many of the rigs are in covered parking. It is TX and can stay hot. Not to mention the storms that come through.
There is plenty of cold bottled water available too. Coffee & snacks are also in the reception area.

Now, we had looked at rigs near where we live. One dealer wanted to order what we wanted but he had no firm date for delivery. No one could compare to the price we were getting at MHSRV. Even considering the fact we were going to trade. The bottom $ number was still lower. And that's the # that counts.

After the sale: the new rig is in covered parking. There's plenty of space to pull the old rig so that you are door to door for the "move". There was a case of MHSRV bottled water in the frig which we needed! It being August it was hot!

When we looked at the rig with Jimmy we started our list of items that needed attention. Then we had a walk through with one of the service techs when the deal was done.

You have the option to stay in your rig right at MHSRV for several days. You are in covered parking with w/e/s. We had a clicker for the back gate so we could get out. With this time you can get used to your rig; have any issues addressed.

Service: since we were a new sale, any of our issues were addressed immediately. After we left & got to Albuquerque we had some questions. DH called Jimmy who got him connected with someone in service. We were going to come back thru Dallas to their service dept but an appt was 2 wks out. Our issues were minor so we came on home.

To me, jmho, yes, one hopes the selling dealer has great service, but this is a motorhome we bought - meaning for us, we are not going to be near the selling dealer - we are going to be out on the roads seeing this great country. The Manufacturer of said rig had better stand behind their build. If there's an issue, we better be able to have access to service under warranty. And that is what we have experienced.

As for MHSRV, great organization. Continually looking to improve their business and customer service. Without a doubt, go to MHSRV. And I personally would recommend contacting Jimmy Campana.

We'll see you out on the road! Safe travels!
