Congrats on the new coach. Moving from a Phaeton to a Cornerstone - reminds me of the scene in "Dances with Wolves" where he says "Good Trade".

Congratulations, she is a beauty! Yes, it will be a long week, but well worth the wait. All the best with your PDI, and safe & happy travels to you!

Thanks! The Phaeton was our first motorhome and we enjoyed it so much we decided to go ahead take the next step sooner rather than later. I was due to make a trip to the factory for some "adjustments" and really just wasn't up to a 3 to 4 week wait in Red Bay for service. Mainly we just fell in love with the Conerstone though. The ride and drive was head and shoulders above the others we looked at.

John, we bought our Anthem from MHSRV about a month ago, and your rig was at the end of the Cornerstone area.... it was beautiful then, and still is. As others have said, WOW! Also, as others have said, at virtually every stop for the past month we have been in our coach, people stop by the coach if we are outside to oooogle our coach and paint job. Lots of compliments.
The PDI process at MHS leaves something to be desired to me, but my advice is have the PDI tech with you all day, 8:30 to 6:00 and check everything. Then plan to stay until everything is resolved. They have a nice staging area where you have full hookups including sewer and waiting to get things fixed is painless and free. Burleson, up the road 10 miles has some good restaurants, a WalMart, and some of the cheapest diesel you are gonna find at the Sams.... easy in and out.... diesel pumps on the far right facing the building... You'll thank me as you get only a free half tank of diesel.
Good luck with everything, and hope you drive many safe, problem free miles.
Gary

Thanks Gary, hope it performs as good as it looks! I spent a couple of hours going over the coach when I did the test drive and didn't find any glaring problems. I had a pretty bad experience with delivery on my current rig but as it was our first MH I didn't have a clue what to look for on the PDI. Hope to do a little better this time and don't plan on leaving with a "come back later list" unless they don't have parts. I think Steve is scheduled to do my delivery and I have had heard good things about him on the forum.
Thanks also for the heads up on the 1/2 tank of fuel. I will make sure my trade is empty on DEF and diesel……….

John your coach was next to ours in the delivery area - they were starting on yours as we left. On ours the tank was a little below 1/2 diesel and they added to it before we left, the DEF tank was full. They had a slight miscommunication on ours so they had it ready for us Friday after noon but didn't do PDI until Sat AM (was supposed to be some Friday finish Sat) but it all worked out good - gave me a chance to make a list of question before PDI started. MHS tech Steve is very nice guy a very good on PDI. Good Luck !
