Bob, is it safe to assume you got the Traffic Everywhere function fixed too?

Nope! RM tier three tech support is still working on it. I will post when they find a solution or update on their progress.

When I updated my card the database somehow became corrupted. I kept getting a message about 5 minutes after I turned the Nav program on that said:
The license for the selected map database is invalid
or has expired.
Please turn the unit off and on.
If this repeats please call support.

I called RM and a tech remotely deleted a couple of files and told me to run repair on the docking software and I'd be good to go. No go. Called RM again and they told me to call RiverPark for a new card. I did and one is on the way, but I had to leave a credit card number to assure them that I'd ship the old card back. Anxious to get new software up date and try it. I've had the same problem with the voice commands as well as some routing difficulties. What I've seen of the new software (in 5 minute increments) is that it's provides more in the way of settings and customization.

I have absolutely no idea... I suppose the only way to know is to ask the dealer.

The reason I ask...my nephew wanted to upgrade his maps on a Ford car he bought. The price was so high he decided to buy a GPS rather than pay the ransom.

It is a shame these expensive products fail to perform properly. I had a similar problem with my Garmin voice breaking up and they instructed to update the maps. "free lifetime". plug into the laptop and 8 hours later all updates. No more lag or missed words.
We run to garmin when traveling just in case. Think about purchase of a spare navigational aid. We always had backup on our yacht why not a MH.

Have your son check on Ebay. Found the GPS upgrade for the DW's Lexus very reasonable. Dealer wanted $350.

I do believe the Entegra updates are Lifetime.

I left Brad a voicemail. I will update when he calls back. Thanks for the information.

I called Brad this morning. He somehow had my name listed on his call list from last December (had an incorrect digit in the phone number) to contact me for the temperature sensor issue, which I had not heard of before. He was very familiar with the abbreviated speech issue, and has sent me emails to fix both problems.

To fix the temperature sensor issue, I need to flash the radio with an executable file he sent me. The speech issue fix is an update to version 4.5.3670.1332.117212.

I drove up to visit the RV today and brought the SD card home to work on. I probably won't know if the issues are fixed until my next trip south in the spring, but Brad assured me this would take care of it. He also confirmed that RM has not yet addressed the compatibility issue between the dock and El Capitan.

Barmats... Looks like you have things under control. Now if we can just get the AM/FM to work, life would be good!
