Need Help!!!!! Aquahot Failure

Left Orlando late last night we stopped and stayed at a rest stop outside Pensacola. We woke up at 5:00 am and went to turn the Aqua hot and had nothing. System would not turn on. Called entegra and they had me adjust the air intake. System finally fired up but now none of our zones will turn on. We have hot water but nothing else. Heading to Ohio we live full time in our coach. 937-974-8388 any help would be appreciated.

Yes, they don't have a clue, they can't figure it out.

You are close to Cherokee Farms in Foley Alabama ... they are a certified Aqua Hot repair place. They usually can figure things out well before anyone else can. Give them a call ... 251-971-2598. See if they can work you in tonight or tomorrow. Bobby will do his best if he can ... good luck!

Armye. By chance is your thermostat acting odd? Will not adjust? It do recycle your 12 volt system with the salesman switch. I have had that happen with the roof ac’s during the summer

You have checked LP levels I’m sure. And they have probably already had you banging on check valves. I’ll have to let the experts chime in here. It looks like AquaHot has a service center in Foley, AL - wouldn’t be too far from Pensacola if all else fails.

I would suggest attempting a system reset. There is an AquaHot fuse in the compartment below the driver. Pull it and give it a few seconds before reinstall. This effectively forces a reboot of the controller. On my 2012 that fuse is in the lower of the two fuse panels in spot #16...a 25 amp fuse.

I had a similar problem and I fixed it by shutting down the system and waiting 2 minutes. Turn off the thermostat and turn off the power by the front door. Wait 2 minutes and power the system up again.

If you have a flame and hot water, it sounds like the thermostat is not "calling" for heat or the unit is not hearing the call.

I do not think the fuse in the panel under the driver's area is going to help, but it certainly is not going to hurt. I would reset the 12v to the coach, there is also a fuse in the thermostat, pull the cover and check that as well.

Another test would be to cycle the system from gas heat to electric heat and see if your roof units are responding to the thermostat.

I know you will need the gas heat when the temps get colder but in N FL this time of year the roof units will still provide heat.

PM me if you have specific questions, glad to help if I can.

Smile

The fact that NONE of your zones are working is telling. If you are inclined to take on troubleshooting yourself the AquaHot service manuals are at the link below. They have some pretty good troubleshooting sections. Don’t overlook the simple stuff first.

Aqua-Hot Manuals

Good luck

I believe I might have found my problem, when I remove the cover from my Aqua hot I fave 5 or six fuses on a plastic fuse holder. When I move those around it turns on once I let go it shuts it self off. So I believe we have short some where in that fuse box. I am getting up and going over to Cherokee RV repair and hope they can fix. I have to be on the road Friday heading to Ohio sure will be cold with no heat. Thanks for everyone's help. I will let you all know what I find out.
