Need more advice on Anthem
Thanks to all who have given advice so far.
New question: Are the changes between 2015 and 2016 Anthem 44 DLQ enough so that I should keep looking and wait for the 2016 or pull the trigger on a 2015.
I am concerned the 2016 will be around 30,000 more expensive.

Only you can decide if the changes are enough for you. The main ones are the end caps. I think there are some lighting around the counters that the 2015's don't have ... but again, mainly the end caps. Do you like the look of a "classic" Entegra or the more updated "bling" of the newer style? We are happy with our 2015. I'm sure you will enjoy either .... good luck with your choice.

That will be a personal decision. Some like the glitz of the 57 Chevy's on the newer models, some prefer the 53 Chevy looks of the Classics. As for upgrade difference, $30,000 will buy a lot of upgrades, even upgrades from a 2019.

Personally....
I like the look of the "classic". They did make some upgrades on the inside but I'm not sure there were any major changes.
We're starting to consider finding a 2015 Cornerstone and then doing some of the interior changes ourselves. It sure would save a lot of money

I think it comes down to the design.
New cap vs. Classic cap and the $30k
Good luck

We love our 2015, and wouldn't trade it. Our 2 cents.

I also am more of a classic lover...
It’s just personal opinion..
They are decorated in darker themes.. which I like..
They are also taller... which just gives the coach a more distinct wow look..
They went to shorter awning boxes in 16 ( that’s the difference)
I remember buying my 14 classic anthem next door to mhsrv and the 16 model just came out..
going from my 14 and walking thru the 16 on the same day it was such a difference in feel..
some of the new technologies are cool but really the classics do the same things... just in different ways..
Entegra are great... in any years... just personal preference..

We bought an extended warranty when we purchased our then 10 yr old coach.
We've had the coach 3 years now and that initial $5800 investment in the warranty has paid for itself. Still have one year on the warranty. Each to his own.

We bought the extended warranty because the newer coaches are so complicated and labor rates have gone through the roof.

It depends on your financial position. If you could write a check for 2k and still be able to eat and fuel the coach, you're better off taking $300-$500 a month and sticking it back. When you have $15000 saved back, stop saving and let the cash ride.
If a $2000 repair is going to hurt your budget, buy a extended warranty. But remember, the money spent on the extended warranty is like rent, it's gone when the warranty is over. While the money you saved is still there unless it's used.
Also most extended warranties do everything they can to keep from covering your repairs. It's just business to them to collect your money and keep as much as they can. The more they deny the more they keep.

I am self insured, so far it has been very profitable.
