Netgear Nighthawk

Anyone recently switched from their Mobley to a Netgear Nighthawk that has the process fresh in memory??

Contemplating the upgrade but worried about complications....

I recently got one (not in camper) and the set up was straight forward. I do like it.

Stu

Did you switch a SIM from a Mobley to the Nighthawk, or start new service for it?

The following link to a Mobile Internet Resource Center article explains how to get and use the PUK codes that might be needed when installing your sim card into an alternate device including the Nighthawk.

Try this link in the technology forum. There is a lot of discussion on this subject in that thread. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f53/att-...ml#post6070841

You're welcome, Gary.

That article is over three years old but the need to have the PUK codes (you should get two) hasn't changed. Hopefully AT&T is still providing them. If the first CS rep refuses I would try calling back and see if you can get them from a different rep.

Good luck!

You need to call ATT and ask for the PUK code. When they ask if they can talk about your account say NO.

Netgear Nighthawk

When I called to get my codes there were no questions asked. I asked for the codes and they gave me the first one, then I asked for the second and they provided it. I think there was a separate customer service number that I called. It was on one of the threads. Iíll check my notes and if I still have the number, Iíll edit this post.

Edit: The number I have is 866-595-1334. You will need the phone number associated with your Mobley. Itís on your statement.

I was worried about PUCK codes and all that but I just pulled out my sim card out of the mobley because it was constantly timing out and stuck it in the nighthawk and it just worked and no timeouts or continual need to refresh one of the few things that went easily
