New 44R Aspire power Dinette
Pretty neat feature Entegra came up with as a solution for the prior booth removable table set up. The pic shows one side extended out and the other side slid in in the travel position. Two adults can fit easily. And when slides are in it condenses down to a single booth with a power button. Creates a clear path to bath when slides are in.

Why does this site rotate your pics when you upload them in the "go advanced" post section? Weird

Looks sweet! This makes more sense.
Never liked that table they had.

Chester, when posting images I have had pretty good luck in cropping the image to a square, then I preview it to ensure it "sticks."
Squares consistently post correctly, vertically oriented images get reoriented for some reason. Landscape images do not.
Regarding the dining table, I can't agree more. I'm awaiting some measurements to see if a retro is possible.

Guys, in examining that image, a couple of things pop out at me.
First, you will gain 2 sizable cabinets flanking the TV. The storage will be nice, but I don't know if that will make that area feel closed in. The "old" floor plan had a full length solid surface counter to which the TV descended into, and is light and airy.
I think the cabinets are a nice bonus, particularly if you don't lose window space.
Second, there is a finished cabinet door under the table. I expect this to be a dummy, or a very shallow finished storage area. This space is where the TV resides when stowed away.
There is an outlet at head level on the forward wall of the slide box. I'll tell you right now that if you don't wreck your head on that, it will be awkward to sit there and have anything plugged in.
Don't take what I'm going to say the wrong way, because I really like what they did here. However, our '17 can be in travel mode with the table in place. Our table is equipped with a tilt mechanism and can be rotated nearly vertical for passage. I think we've left the table in place a handful of times.
Probably the single argument to be made against this new setup, is the loss of the ability to have a conversation pit flanked with large couches.
As they evidently don't offer this as an option, I expect the change to be the new face of the 44R living room, regardless of preferences.
Frankly, I'm very happy Entegra is investing the effort in refining and improving the 44R.
If they would trim the fat surrounding the bunks, and eliminate the bi-fold doors and required structure, the hallway would be much more usable.

Matt,
You are correct that there is a small, shallow cabinet under the dinette. I don't think you could put much in there but it is there. We really liked the change, obviously from our purchase, but the pre 2018.5 setup just didn't work for us. I think they got this one right, from our perspective at least. Other things I think they should have done is put windows in the bunks, but one step at a time.

Not to hijack the thread, but when you take a photo with a phone in landscape orientation, and display it on a PC, it will be sideways. If you rotate it in a viewer, it may or may not be saved as a rotated picture, depending upon the viewer used. For known results, open it in an editor, such as the free Paint.net or the built-in Windows Paint. (Not a Mac guy here.) Rotate the picture and save it, and it is now in the correct orientation on disk and will display correctly here on the forum.

Thanks guys for the input. They also changed the pantry beside the fridge and by the sink. Here are a few pics from RVOne on an Insignia 44R they have.

I like the counter to the left of the sink.

I’m looking forward to seeing a new 44R. After all my engine and radiator issues from this past summer, something new sounds like a refreshing change.
