New Coach Slide Doesn't Fully Extend

Hi Folks,
I have a 2019 Insignia 37MB. The driver's side slide in the bedroom has a gap of about 1" from the wall when fully extended. In other words it does not extend flush and the gap is wide enough all around the moulding to permit me to run fingers around the perimeter. The gap is symmetrical. My other slides, when extended, are flush with the interior wall.

I am 5 days into a month long trip. I called support and was advised that it was not a warranty issue and that the gap would not cause any issues with weather proofing integrity. I could pay for it to be fixed when I had time.

Not sure how to proceed, if at all.

Thoughts appreciated.

It's a brand new coach and "it's not a warranty issue"? I would argue with that.

I also would question the "not a warranty issue." You might want to check back and, if you get the same answer, contact Joyce. Someone would have to explain to me why engineering would design in a gap because if that's not the design, then it should be repaired under warranty.

As others have said call back. I don't think a qualified person was on the other end.

If itís the vanity slide the stop rods are probably not adjusted correctly. PM me if you want to discuss it. Not hard to adjust.

Double check to make sure no object has gotten stuck in between the walk and slide

I had that problem and it was adjusted at the Factory. Someone gave you bad information.

Not fixed yet. We are traveling for the next 2 weeks. If it's not going to cause any issues with rain, etc, I'll wait until I can make an appointment.
