When it comes to buying a motorhome, we'd all have to have our heads examined. Lets see... immediate 25-30% depreciation, inevitable QC issues, expensive fuel, never enough time to enjoy them, etc... BUT we all LOVE the lifestyle! My wife and I agreed we do not want to give up the lifestyle, so here we are - about to spend a ton of money. Oh well, you can't take it with you! I'm sure we'll be very happy with either of these two coaches.[/QUOTE]
Amen to that.
We are in the same boat. I want to trade in my Berkshire for an Aspire with a tag axle but the expense has me concerned.
Let us know the discount you get, I'm very interested.

We ended up with about 30% which I felt was quite good considering how tough it is to get a new Aspire right now if you order one (at least for our model, the 40DRQ).

You are right RV guy, you got a great deal in todays market with the demand far outstripping the supply available and Entegra does not seem inclined to increase production levels with the uncertainly in the economy (a move I applaud as an owner not wanting to have another orphan on my hands). They can sell way more right now than they can produce but they have opted to keep the quality up and production down. I think they have a great business model and as the economy strengthens, production will likely increase, but for now it is a sellers market for sure. All just my opinion.

Curious which Entegra you purchased? We just purchased an Anthem, pick it up next month, and are curious how other Entegra owners feel about theirs.

We ended up with the 2012 Aspire 40DRQ. We are very happy with the coach and Entegra. No regrets. I'm sure you'll be thrilled with the Anthem. We "aspire" to an Anthem someday!

Riscky we purchased a 2012 Anthem 42RBQ last June and we are quite pleased with it. No regrets here either and the folks at Entegra Coach are awesome to deal with.

Entegra Amthem
So I'd like your opinions about what Coach would be the closest competition to the 2013 Engetra Anthem RBQ???

Mlacute1,
I looked at many others and didn't find another company that I felt was in the same league when I compared quality of construction, finish and price to Entegra. Unfortunately, I did encounter an issue w/ my Anthem...I can now attest to experiencing the "service after the sale" of Entegra. The got involved IMMEDIATELY on a chassis issue. Spartan/Cummins/Entegra owned the problem and worked together flawlessly to resolve the issue. Better yet, they communicated with me several time a day what was happening. What Don, Joyce and Tadd at Entegra did...was beyond any of my expectations. I can't think of a company I'd rather do business with.

Mlacute,
We looked at many but narrowed down to Mountainaire 4344, Tiffin Alegro Bus 43QGP, Entegra Coach Anthem 42RBQ. For me in the initial stages of my research these 3 seemed to be similar. After 6 months of research, review, consultations with dealers, RV ers, and a detailed review of features and cost we thought that the Anthem would be our best choice. After the fact I must say we couldn't be happier.

Newmar would be the only company that is even close to the overall quality of Entegra, but at a higher price. Tiffin is way below both Newmar and Entegra in overall quality.... I would not buy a Tiffin even if it was half the price of a comparable Entegra, Tiffin is just having way to many serious issues with their coaches
