New Entegra Quality
Good morning all,
We are considering purchasing a new Entegra Reatta. We had a diesel pusher for many years and 2 years ago went back to a Class A gas Newmar. It's been an awesome coach aside from the Ford issues. I really miss the exhaust brake and safety it affords in mountainous driving. We looked at the Kountry Star and love it but the cost is a little on the high side for us. We saw the Reatta and it's very similar to the Kountry Star. We are headed this weekend to look at one and just wondering from you owners how the new Entegra product quality is.
I'd love to hear some feedback from anyone with a new coach, especially a Reatta, how it has gone and quality issues. Thanks for anyone taking the time to respond.

I have not owned a Reatta. I am on my second Entegra.
They are well built and fun.
I have had several issues with my 22. All fairly minor but a few needed attention quickly.
Our dealer NIRVC Nashville, Entegra, and Spartan have all been top notch at supporting us and fixing issues.
Good Luck!

We have a '21 Reatta 39BH purchased slightly used in September of 2021. Minor issues along the way--largest being DEF head (but hopefully buying new that has been taken care of. Both Entegra and Spartan customer service has been great--there when we needed them. We have put on about 10,000 miles since purchase (AZ to MN and back twice), pulling a Jeep Unlimited Rubicon and the ride is great. Rides just fine at 70mph. Up hills we are in the slow lane with the fully loaded semi's but the Cummins 360 does fine for our needs. Ours is not an XL and sometimes wish it was--but when seeing some of the issues with Aqua Hot, happy we have the standard Reatta. But warm floors would be nice. And we hear the new models have Apple Play and an upgraded driver's console which would be nice but overall very happy and will keep this one for a few years. We actually purchased from a Newmar dealer and looked at their 'Star' models which seem to be well built. But with that would buy an Entegra again. Finally--we did the Spartan training school and was well worth it--we didn't know what we didn't know. Good luck!

I don’t own an Entegra but think they have a decent manufacturing g process. All brands can have issues which may or may not be outliers. There was a thread not too long ago about an owner who purchased a new Reatta and had some fairly significant issues with it. I don’t remember the details but thought some of the issues were unacceptable.

We have a 2020 Reatta XL 39BH which has had several issues. I recommend investing in a 3rd party inspection before/at purchase.
One thing I highly recommend is the XL vs. the standard Reatta. We began looking at the Reatta’s, but we’re advise by a few friends to go with more torque. The XL has the necessary power to actually increase speed on a grade even when towing a car.
The floor plan to this day is still the best for our family, and as we work through the manufacturing and few engineering issues we are “building a solid coach” from what we purchased.

We had a 2020 Reatta XL and it was an excellent motorhome, very well made, not a single rattle driving down the road. We got a consistent 12.1mpg driving up and down the east coast. We liked it so much we ordered a 2021 Entegra Anthem which has been another great motorhome. I was recently at the factory and did the manufacturing tour and could see for my self how well built the Entegras are. The technology in the Entegra line is on par with high-end custom coaches.

Not intending to highjack the post, but 12.1mpg. Using eco mode for the last 3 years we average 8-9MPG. How exactly did you achieve that fuel economy? Tire pressure, no toad, no genny?

The Reatta is similar to the Newmar Ventana, the Fleetwood Discovery, or the Tiffin Phaeton.
They are all single axle units with similar layouts and build quality. Most likely you'll find rear radiator setups with some pass through bays (I forget if they are all pass through or not). Some steps have been taken to balance quality with price. Generally considered to be a step down from the Entegra lineup. They offer excellent value for those just starting out or not needing all the bells and whistles of a tag axle.

21 Reatta BH39
We have loved our Reatta, except in the mountains. The torque is not enough in the west coast mountains -- in the slow lane at 35-40 MPH with the fully loaded big rigs. Going back down the engine brake is not a true exhaust brake -- it works with the turbo. So crawling downhill in the low gears is also very slow and stressful. We've changed our routes going east and west as a result. Otherwise, I love the coach!!!! Quality is great.

I have a 2021 Entegra Reatta 39' 11" I just say 40 feet. Diesel pusher. I love it even tho I get 9.7 mpg and with a Toad 2023 F-150 4x4 I get 8.7 mpg I am a retired long-haul driver and I feel at home driving this rig. The only problem I have had with the power steering main line was a bad bushing. I would do my morning diligence and check the fluids and the power steering was empty every time. I made an appointment with Nationaal RV and Truck Center in Sacrament Ca. They found the problem, bad bushing in the pump, replaced it and off we went.

I felt I had many issues with my new Entegra. Many seem to be re-occurring issues I have read about online. I am not sure i would purchase another one especially with Joyce retiring from customer service.
