UPDATE FOR CORNERSTONE MAIN FUEL FILTER CARTRIDGE

Update on Cornerstone primary fuel filter. The Racor S3238P is a misprint in Spartan's filter listing for my coach. That's a 30 micron filter. The Racor S3238 is the correct number and is a 190 micron filter.

We also need to check the Fan Belt Number to see if they are different on some units. Mine is a 1919-AA3-004 per Spartan

Just had my generator serviced and the Onan part number on the oil filter was 122-0893 this is different than the listed 122-0933. Not sure why.

The filter numbers are posted right on the generator itself, right by the on-off switch and circuit breaker.

Thanks, I will check it tomorrow, I did not look, just compared it to the Cummins bill and saw it was different.

It could possibly be a new part number that supercedes the original filter number. I've seen that happen before on various filters whenever they find a shortcoming and a way to improve it.

Or, it might just be a dealer using what they "thought" is the correct filter but didn't check.

The WIX #'s have been the same for years, and I can get them at the corner auto parts stores.

FWIW - If you drop the first number off of the Wix part number, you will have the NAPA part number. Wix makes the filters for NAPA so either one is just as good as the other and you don't have to look up part number interchanges to switch between them.

I believe the 122-0933 was the old part number and the 122-0893 is the new correct one. It may be a case of them not updating their computer with the new part number.
