New Shower Heads in 2020 Models

Below is a photo of the shower in a 2020 Cornerstone. Also included are two photos of the new showerheads, one of which is fixed and the other a detachable handheld.

Based on Entegra's "What's New 2020" document, it appears similar changes have been made in the Aspire and Anthem product lines.

As an editorial comment, I'm not sure about that geometric tile pattern on the wall of the shower but maybe it'll grow on me...

The shower, I will add Nowabeachbum's current shower head extension and call it good. Like Marc, the new shower would have to grow on me, but it may have a better shower head angle than the 19 does.

I had already bought almost exactly the same shower head (if not exactly the same one) from Costco. The new one I bought is a Kohler product and has the same stationary shower head with a detachable section of that head that can be moved around to wash off other areas of the body other than your head. I have not installed it yet, but those types of shower fixture are all the rage these days and everyone offers them. If I dont like it, I will put the original back in the coach and buy Matt's or JH's or Marc's additional downturn fixture for ~ $50 and call it a day.

On second examination of Larry's picture.... my Kohler version of this has a bigger square showerhead but the removable part of that head looks like it is all one piece when it is mounted together until you remove the outer ring of that square head and then it is its own remote shower head... the new one shown by Larry has an outboard smaller shower head that can be detached.

I wasn't knocking the shower head, it looks good to me. It was the tile pattern that my comment was referring to.

Marc

You dont want to have had too many fingers of scotch before showering, I think.

You're right, I would hate to get in that shower with a hangover. Thankfully I don't drink hard liquor anymore, that shower would be a big NO!

Well, I still drink hard liquor and that is a big no with or without! And while I like lots of water in my s&b shower, it seems like there is a bit too much shower head for a motorhome that is even only occasionally off grid!

That was my thought also. When I first saw the double shower head I REALLY wanted it - actually I REALLY wanted a new coach (the 19 suddenly became old [emoji849]). A second walk thru the next day and I realized I could add most of what I liked to our current coach. And by the third day I was trying to figure out how you could use double shower heads when boondocking. And how much water pressure would it take to give you a decent shower. Then the question if both heads even supplied water at the same time or if it was an either/or. Pretty but I'm not sure how practical.

I bought a shower head to replace the one that came in the coach. Improved water flow and easy peasy. We both love it.

Which one did you buy? How is the angle on it? I need to do something with mine. The adapter that Nowabeachbum posted to change the factory shower head is now $60 from Delta.....excuse me!? I can purchase a better shower head for that.

Chuck, since you've mentioned the shower head angle before, are you aware that it can be adjusted? I'm hoping that you already know this (if we have the same shower heads), but the angle of our shower head is adjustable and the height is also adjustable by loosening the knob opposite the shower head and sliding it up or down on the pole.
