New to Entegra

In the wet Bay Area there is a switch called courtesy
Light to work in that area I have used this at night but now can’t get it turned on
Do I need to turn something else to make this switch work
Next on the door key pad how do I lock doors using the key pad I’m good with unlock but reading the manual can’t find anything telling what keys lock doors and cargo doors

Not sure what coach you have. On my Cornerstone, the power (“salesman”)switch inside the door must be on for the cargo bay lights to work. As for keys, each lock has a number on it that corresponds to a number on the keys. Hope that helps. Consider adding the year and model of your coach to your profile signature so folks with same will reply with best info. Enjoy!

You must turn on the cargo lights at the entry door..Once you turn this on...then the switch will work.

Cargo lights must be on for the light in the wet bay to work.

Hi Ron,

Now that I see your signature, I hope it works. This procedure works for me on my classic.

Cheers!

Am I right that 1/2 pressed and released quickly only locks the door. A longer press also locks the cargo doors?

Ron, technique wise I leave the cargo lights all switched on at the light itself, and control all lights with the CARGO switch by the door.

In truth, I leave the cargo lights on 24/7/365 and have for 2 years without a failure. I do this as many critters are nocturnal and may not invade the coach with lights blaring.

I routinely leave the wet bay light off, and turn it on locally as needed, otherwise I’ll get swarmed with bugs.

Congratulations on the new coach,

-Matt

Matt I like that idea if it wasn't that the awning lights are on the same switch. I can't believe that. If I leave the basement lights on, The awning lights are on to attract bugs. I hope I can get that separated.

Yes, the "cargo light (basement) and awning lights are on the same switch at the entry door panel....crazy from one extreme to the other, it doens't make sense.

Shows once again that the designers are not RVers. I bet they wanted to add a new switch there and combined the two lights to make room. What is new on the door panel?

That should have been slide light instead of awning lights.
