No, it isn't.
When NIRVC first came to Phoenix they operated out of a temporary facility which was a relatively short drive from our home in Scottsdale. But they've since moved to a much larger/much nicer facility in the city of Surprise on the west side of the Phoenix valley. See attached image from Google Maps.

As a follow-on to my post above, one of the new buildings Brett referenced COULD be here in the Phoenix area. I have no inside knowledge on that, but I do know that the storage building in Surprise was full to the brim very shortly after it opened and has remained so to this day.
There is land available around the current NIRVC building, so maybe they're going to add a building to house more stored coaches. Or they could do what they recently did in Lewisville, which was to build a new building and move the service department to that space, thereby freeing up room for additional motorhome storage in the original building.

They did just complete a new sales/service building next door to the Dallas/Lewisville location

Right you are! But since that project has been complete for a few months, I assumed Brett was referring to different buildings when he said, “With two new buildings about to come out of the ground…”

In December 2020, NIRVC released a video titled: Oil Changes Vs. Recommended Chassis Service - NIRVC Will Not Be Beat! (available on YouTube).
At the 0:49 point of that video, this graphic is displayed:
During a dialogue on iRV2 that resulted from that video, I made a comment that caught Brett's attention. He contacted me and we had a conversation regarding one of those green dots (not one of the 'OPEN' dots). My take from that conversation, which occurred in December '20, was that he was well into the process of finalizing a location somewhere within one of those three green dots.
So, his mention in this most recent video suggesting that he has "two new buildings about to come out of the ground" has me wondering if one of those new buildings might be within the green dot that he and I chatted about.
Since our conversation was private, I'm disinclined to share anything specific. However, you may infer, from other comments that I've made, which green dot I'm most interested in. You'd probably be right.
Take care,
Stu

Yep, but that doesn’t keep them from building another one. I believe they bought more land there, but I said probably, I guess I should have said maybe Atl, certainly don’t know for sure.

After watching the video, i thought it was a great insight into the economy and how things have changed this past year.
My one question is, based on the demand for RV's do we believe the quality suffer?

With two new buildings about to come out of the ground, believe me, we are keenly aware of the increases in the costs of construction here at National Indoor RV Centers."
Any guess where the two new buildings will be springing forth?
Take care,

I apologize for the confusion I inadvertently created with my statement in the video. I certainly didn’t intend to cause any confusion while I was busily jabbering away in front of the camera.
One of our two new buildings is our permanent facility just east of Nashville right on I-40. We signed the contract with our General Contractor back in January 2021, and our GC has been working with the municipalities ever since. I’m being told we should be coming out of the ground in September.
The second new building will be directly across the street from our existing facility in Surprise, AZ. This building will be solely for the purpose of storing coaches, which when completed will bring our Surprise location up to 900 coaches under roof, and making it our largest storage location.
We also own the land immediately adjacent to our Atlanta facility, and are expanding our parking for coaches as we speak. Ultimately, we will build a an additional building there dedicated solely to the service of coaches just as we recently did at our Lewisville, TX facility.
Lastly, as we continue our quest to buildout a network of service centers in the travels patterns of coach owners, we are working diligently on our 6th location with municipalities as we speak. Our fingers are crossed with the municipalities as we hope to open this location in January 2022. Just as with our Atlanta and Nashville locations, we will open in a temporary Sales and Service location while simultaneously starting construction of our permanent facility. Pursuant the promises I made to the all the manufacturers we’ll be representing at our 6th location, we won’t be divulging the location until our sign goes up on the building. However, we are currently identifying from our existing team who we will relocate, and seed the location with, in addition to our in house recruiter busily recruiting, and interviewing in the local area.
I hope this clears up any of the confusion I created.
Onward,
Brett

Brett, It is nice to watch and be part of the growth of NIRVC. Thank you for taking us all along with the explanations.

Thank you Chuck, as well as the members of this Forum, for all the support you have shown NIRVC over the years. Believe me, it is greatly appreciated!
I’ve said it many times before, but I absolutely love the RVing community! I simply have never come across a more kind, caring, and fun community. From raising our children, to now our grandchildren, to our customers, it has been a very fulfilling and rewarding community to belong to. It has certainly provided my family a lifetime full of fond memories. I truly hope when yours and my time passes our future generations will enjoy the lifestyle as much as we have. And, will carry the torch forward, as I feel this is a uniquely American lifestyle.
I’ll end here before I need a Kleenex,
Brett

Well said, Brett!
Amy & I have logged a lot of miles traveling around the country in our various motorhomes. Almost without fail, the fellow travelers we meet are just as happy as we are; clearly enjoying life out on the big wide road of RV adventure.
Not often, but every now & then I’ll encounter someone at the opposite end of that spectrum. In those cases I’m always tempted to ask, “If you can’t be happy doing this, what on earth would it take??”
Here’s another way to illustrate the allure of the RV lifestyle. For a period of my younger life, I life in a city called Playa Del Rey, just north of the L.A. airport. Most of my neighbors worked for the airlines. One of them shared the following fictional but illustrative story with me.
There was a modest man who worked for one of the big airline companies. His job was to pump out the toilet holding tanks on the big airliners. His boss generally ignored him, other than to level petty criticisms.
One day, as he was pumping out a holding tank, the hose connection broke loose. Before he could get the pump shut off, raw sewage had soaked his uniform and made a pretty big mess of the surrounding area. His boss chewed him out big time, but he dutifully cleaned up the mess, did what he could to tidy up his uniform, and continued doing his job until the end of his shift.
When he got home, his wife immediately noticed the soiled uniform and asked what happened. He recounted the whole story, including the abuse from his boss. His wife shook her head and said, “You know, you’re a smart, hard-working guy. You could do a lot better than this thankless job. I think you should quit and find something better.”
To which the man incredulously responded, “And give up Aviation??”
I think of that story frequently, especially when I’m dealing with a particularly frustrating issue on one of our motorhomes. (DEF head issues come to mind, but there are plenty of others.) And just like the wife in the story, Amy will sometimes say something like, “Maybe we should just sell this [insert derogatory word of choice] and find something else to do with our time!”
To which I incredulously respond, “And give up RV’ing??”

I ordered an Accolade 37L from the Atlanta facility last week, over 500 miles away, when I could have bought one 40 miles away at General RV for a comparable price. But reputation is what influenced me the most and NIRVC was at the very top. My instincts haven't failed me in life so far.

Building a network of service centers in the travel patterns of RV owners sure sounds like it must be Florida!
