Welcome to Entegra ownership. This post will have more tips and tricks than can be read before you pick up your coach. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/tell...ns-154379.html

Lots of other posts in this forum as well. You'll see the term "Classic" That refers to your year coach. The new models refer to 2016 and 2017

My advice.......... read every thread posted in the past 6 months here on iRV2 Entegra Owners Forum. If that doesnt answer all of your questions, ask specifics or use the search box up near your avatar ("welcome xxxx " with the irv2 default. They have that search engine working pretty well now.

Oh, and CONRATULATIONS ON THE NEW COACH!!! Nice pick and I am sure you are going to have a lot of fun with it. Stay active on here also.

Thanks All

Having moved up from an older Monaco to the Aspire, the Monaco owners forum was amazing in helping us figure that coach out so I am sure we will be living on this forum for a while at the beginning and much longer

Can't wait to pick up our new ride!!

Mark

If the 14 aspire had the same issues as the 14 anthems then this is what I would check right away-

1- updated Aqua hot pumps.. it was common problem and Aqua hot will warranty this task if you have the certain bad pumps
Call Aqua hot with your vin#

2- make sure your Aqua hot hoses are routed correctly behind your kitchen drawers.. they can kink pending on the slide is in or out and totally mess up your heating system. Pull the bottom right drawer out and stick a flashlight light in there and check

3- get the updated ac fans or your roof ac,s .. lots quieter and old ones can shatter

4- plan on replacing all your shade motor.. slowly but surly they will go out in this year.. red motors is what u want

5- Cummins has a couple of updates for the motor.. take it to a Cummins dealer and have them plug it in and ck.
Huge difference on power up hills and better mileage.

6- enjoy the heck out of it .. Entegra is top notch in quality and they drive like a dream.. ( especially after that road master chassis your use to). Been there done that 😀

1. Get the chassis lubed right now. Cost less than $50.

2. Call Spartan. Ask how to get your rear axle box bolts torque checked. Find out who can do that in your area. Cost less than $200.

3. While your talking to Spartan, have them run your VIN number and check for outstanding recalls.

As an ex-Monaco owner recognize the jack sequence on Entegras are different than most other RVs.

a. Pull into camp - slides out, then lower jacks
b. Leaving camp - start engine, wait until air system tops off (whoosh sound), raise jacks, wait for air top off again, retract slides.....works every time

Thanks for the great advice.

I had already read about the power shade issues... Not sure I will be able to get Lazydays to replace them if they are not broken. I am hoping they have already broken and have been replaced. The good thing is.. From what I have read, I think Entegra is really stepping up to the plate on that issue and seems to be fixing them even out of warranty.

As far as the other issues you bring up.. I will certainly have them check them all out..

Its great know the Entegra Owners forum is a helpful as the Monaco forum, was.. We head out in the morning to head back to Florida to pick it up.. Hardly sleeping thinking about!!

Happy Thanksgiving ALL!!

Thanks for the advice..

I am sure that part of the Lazydays PDI will include the lube of the chassis.. I know they are doing a full PM service on both the engine and generator.

First thing tomorrow I will be on the phone with both aqua hot and Spartan to make sure everything is up to snuff.

I am also glad to know the jack sequence.. they probably don't go over that when they do the walk through..

Happy Thanksgiving Hogdriver!!
