Newer models DEQ zone 2 thermostat

We have a 2012 Aspire DEQ. The zone 2 in floor heat is in the bathroom which is not heated by zone 2. Totally stupid. Has anyone moved this thermostat or where is the newer ones?

Thanks
Tim.

Might want to check with Entegra on the layout of the floor heat. Mine was only heating the 1/2 bath, there was a blockage that that would not allow the remainder of the floor to heat. The later models do have floor heat in the bath, but I don't know about a 2012.

Tim,
We have a 2013 Aspire DEQ. Although the zone 2 thermostat is in the bathroom, the remote thermistor is located at the far bottom left of the hutch near the floor in photo 1. Factory relocated to side of hutch about hip height ( second photo ) to better control the heat and the air conditioner. Both use the same thermistor. If the floor heat is on long enough the tiles in the bathroom do warm up but not like the rest of the floor.
Hope this helps
Keith

Tim,

I removed the wood that makes up the bottom shelf inside the hutch. It's held on by several screws. This gives you access to the heat exchanger and you can see where the thermistor wire is located. It looks like all they did was to drill a hole for the new location and feed the sensor up. The side of the hutch is not solid wood but a stick and frame and veneer plywood on both sides.
