NIRVC and Mr. Brett Davis

I have wanted to post this for about a week but we've been on the road back to Mass. and the family so haven't taken the time until now. I'll also point out that I was not asked to post these comments by anyone nor will I go into any great detail on our conversation other then it was very enjoyable.

About 2 weeks ago in response to a posting on the forum I made a comment regarding NIRVC and other dealers and how/why we purchased elsewhere. My comments were not intended to sway anyones opinion but merely state that we did business where it worked out for us even though we would have preferred a more personal experience.

That led to a request from Brett Davis for a conversation which we had and I admit my amazement at his personal concern for his dealership to be the best possible experience for each one of us. He is a true gentleman and it is obviuos to me he desires to operate and is operating a first class all around RV Dealership. When an owner tells you he wants to provide you service even though you bought elsewhere that is very rare !

NIRVC will be our first choice if we decide on another purchase and I feel honored to have had the opportunity to talk with Brett Davis.

Brett and his staff are class acts for sure. RVOne also does a good job but no one backs up with service like NIRV does. His low key approach to try to win the business is appreciated by many.

Brian, great post. You personally know my service situation with "our" dealer. Here is the killer....after waiting for a week for service that never happened, I received an email asking if I was pleased with the service.

Let me also weigh in on this if I may.

When we decided to get into the RV lifestyle, we didn't know anything...just puppy stupid. In the ensuing 9 years, we've purchased several coaches, accepted delivery, and given them my service dollars. That has been an education!

Eventually, you learn that you want a positive, rather than an adversarial relationship with your dealer. You want them to advocate with the manufacturer on your behalf. You need to be able to build a trusting relationship. Unfortunately, that is not universally held across the RV industry.

However, bucking that industry trend, Brett Davis and his National Indoor RV Centers, have in my opinion, established model dealerships in Lewisville, Texas and Lilburn, Georgia, organizations that embody the gold standard in integrity, honesty, and trust. His service may not be the cheapest, but his techs will not cut corners for a quick buck. They will do the job right. They have my vote of confidence, whether in sales, warranty, repair or maintenance. What's more, they have earned my business. I want them to be there for me over the next 20 years...over the life of my mortgage.

The one thing I have learned in my short Time of buying RV's is that if you buy from Brett nirvc you don't take as big a hit when you trade them in. And as I keep putting in all of my post no better price no better service. Thanks to all you guys for the post that you've done .

I had the pleasure of talking at length with Brett over breakfast at Stone Mountain and was pleasantly surprised at the time he took out of his schedule and the information on the NIRV business model he shared with me. He and the organization are dedicated to the best service experience for the customer and are very willing to work to accommodate any and all needs. He certainly seems to have the respect for his employees and they certainly demonstrate a great deal of respect and loyalty to him. Definitely the organization we will be dealing with in the future.

Those of us "out west" want him to hurry up with a location out here. If it turns out to be Phoenix, I suspect he'll give Lazy Days (Tucson) a run for their (Entegra) money.

I would like to add my praise to Brett and NIRVC. We spent a few hours with Brett one Saturday afternoon in Lewisville while shopping for our first MH. When we left I knew I wanted to buy from his company. The pricing was great but just as important was the trust I developed in him and his business model during that time. Personal integrity and a sincere commitment to a Superior Customer Experience add a lot of value.
