I am pulling out as soon as my air gauges reach 100 PSI. I don't like to anoy the neighbors with a running diesel. I idle out of the park letting the engine warm up while I reach the entrance gate.

No need to 'warm up' a diesel, it won't really warm up until it's put to work. Plus with your 2014, manual probably cautions about long warm ups because it prevents exhaust catalytic converter to get to proper temp. and could cause harm. I start and wait for air up, then drive off conservatively for first few miles before drag racing.

At 0235 in an RV park across from Disneyland a fellow RV'er fired up his diesel, set it on high idle and departed at 0300.
Very ignorant.

I try to idle for as short of time as I can for noise considerations. I idle only long enough to air up and hear the relief valve go "pffff", then I shutdown while finishing. Anybody who runs their diesel at 230am for 30 mins at a campground deserves whatever shotgun blast they receive. I understand anybody who can only afford a tent or tent camper ,and started the way I did , being pissed and the last thing they need is some self absorbed guy in his 1/4 to 1/2 million dollar coach totally in his own world.
IMO

The manual in my coach suggests that the engine should be running before moving the slides so I always let it fast idle until the slides and jacks are up and in place. There is no need to idle the engine for warm up beyond filling the air tanks and checking the lights etc.You could let the diesel idle all day and it will never come to a full operating temp.

Below 45 deg. my engine block heater has been on all night(engine sitting at 120 deg. nice and warm), slide in, everything disconnected outside except electric cord, let jacks down so no weight on them(Coach creeps forward when airing up with jacks down- hard on them) start engine (no high idle, want to be seen and not heard), hit the jack "store" button, go outside unplug electric cord and stow it, check all 4 jacks are up, back inside air has blown off(air dryer) and bags are up........pull out......engine run time? maybe 5 minutes.
Toad hooked up the night before..........

This is just me, I pull the slide and jacks up while still plugged into shore power. I have chargers charging my batteries while plugged in, then disconnect electric. Last thing I do is start the engine, one more quick walk around and I am just about at 100 PSI by then.

On e again, Entegra says to have the coach at ride height before you retract jacks. They said it may not be able to achieve ride height without height assist from jacks.
Kinda goes hand-in-hand with the requirement to be on air when you move slides. Our slides will go in with the engine running but not out, or at least mine will.

Yes, totally backwards from what I am use to and I will have to learn a new sequence all over again. However you will not catch me running my coach for a 1/2 an hour at 0 dark thirty. It would still be easy to air up, shut engine off, raise jacks, bring slides in, etc, without running the engine wouldn't it? I still have the learn the new sequence.

There are no worries about me running my engine at 0 dark-thirty. An early departure for is is 9:00!
Yes, airing up then shutting down before slides and jacks works. You lose some air when you retract jacks whether it is running or not but probably not enough to prevent retracting slides. My front pressure drops to 85-100 psi.
