Nova Main Awnings

Today I put both my main awnings out to lubricate and when I pushed the "in" button for the rear awning, it went out an additional couple inches causing the fabric to sag. Now I can hear the motor buzzing when I push the button to go back in, but the roller is not winding up the fabric. Now my awning is still out and the fabric is sagging. Any suggestions??

There was one in my 2012 with all the other manuals. Mine is about 60 pages and reads "Motor home chassis operations &maintenance manual. "

Try unplugging the "white turtle" in the front PS compartment for the rear awning and then plug it back in. Use the button on the turtle to retract and see what happens. If the motor runs and nothing happens a call to Girard would be in order.

"Special Little What???"

I am stuck at Disneys Fort Wilderness Campground with my awning extended and it won't retract. Any suggestions, anyone?

The spring in the awning arms is very stiff, if they go out too far the motor isn't strong enough to pull them in. Get a picnic table to stand on and when pressing the in button push real hard on the awning lead rail. Once you get it in follow the instructions on how to adjust the motor so it won't go out so far.
