Last time I was in LV I saw an ad for this. I think I have to go:

I have to put that on the bucket list. When I was in high school I worked for an excavating company. But was never allowed to operate any equipment outside a hand shovel or air tamper.
But what does this have to do with Octoberfest???

The Marathon Prevost rally at LVM did this last year. We had friends attending that rally and did this "excursion"...they had a ball operating these monster heavy equipment pieces. A good excursion to do if the rally doesn't offer many excursions. This couple also hot skeet for the first time on an excursion while there and now do it routinely.
Bottom line is Vegas is a vacation destination that has a lot to offer besides expensive gambling, shows, and drinks, in that order.

Hadn't heard of a LV rally then. I'm attending one in Iowa at that time. Excepting the world issues, I would really like to attend the real Oktoberfest in Munich...

We're planning to go. It's our last stop before we head to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta.

We attended the Balloon Festival last year prior to Octoberfest. Both were just great. If you are a shooter First Sight is not too far away and it is well done.

Look it up on Trip Advisor. Lots of positive ratings.

Yep - I saw an ad for it when we were at an event a few years ago and vowed if I ever had a chance I was going to go. I hope Cheryl goes with me but right now the idea of some kind of excavation on her toe and fingernails seems to be winning.
I've got a baby tractor with a backhoe. Cheryl and other family members asked me why I needed one. I said - to dig holes. And then to dig another hole to put the dirt in. And then to put the dirt from the second hole back in the first one. Duhhh.
