Odd Beep When Using Remote Unlock
Unlocked the coach today and got a new beep. Not the pitch of the alarm-on beep, but something deeper in pitch.
Did a 12v reset but got it again.
Does not do it through the Vegatouch controls (both midship and dash). Only the remote. Only beeps when unlocking, not locking.
No problem, really, but odd there's a brand new (unwanted) beep.
Anyone ever get this?

It did on my 19 then it quite beeping shortly after, which was fine with me. I never fixed it

I've gotten that sometimes on my door keypad. Don't know what it's for but doesn't seem to be a problem.

I've got some weird beep right now also. Typically a 12v reboot solves it but I've not bothered to try it this time. It sounds like someone shoved a wet wad of paper towels into a horn.

it sounds like its something from the key pad. I agree to cycle the power and see if that resolves it. If the voltage is low, you may get a weird beep.

I use the keypad 99% of the time and have never heard a different beep. It would bug me a little. Maybe it is a signal that the battery in the remote is getting low. Does it happen from both sets of keys.
I keep one set of coach keys in the coach and one in the tow vehicle. Same for the tow vehicle. One set in the coach and one in my pocket when using the vehicle.
Being able to unlock both the tow and the coach from buttons and my phone helps. I have a fear of being locked out of the coach. I had a Monaco years ago that I got locked out of because both keys were inside and the door was locked with all of us outside.

My wife mentions that she hears a similar beep in passing every once in a while, I act as though I don't hear it... saves me the trouble of being asked to find the issue. We can still enter and exit the Coach at will so I don't consider it a problem .... until it is!!!

Thanks, Bobby. It's almost like it's accessing a completely different beep "source"---sounds (like someone else mentioned) like a muted car horn. Nothing like the chirp when you set the alarm.
Have done the 12v reset a couple of times, that's always the first step in any troubleshooting I do. (and it works about 90% of the time!)
Does it only when using the key fobs. Not on the Vegatouch. Not the battery in the fobs (both have been replaced in the last 12 months). Both remotes started doing it at the same time.
Not a huge deal, but it's always disturbing to get new unknown sounds in the rig.

I agree new beeps or noises are generally not good. And they can be darn hard to figure out where they are coming from not to mention whether you should do anything about it.
All normal when using the keypad on the door handle?

Yep, that's it. Sounds a bit like a car horn. Not at all like the usual "beep."

haven't tried the door handle (yet). Both key fobs are doing it.

An update: emailed the trimark folks to see if they can shed some light on it. Since it's the weekend, don't expect to hear anything soon. When/if I do I'll update the thread.

Have had the same beep several times and the only cure I found was unplugging the power to the Trimark module under the dash cover for 20 seconds.
